I used to have a GF. We both played video games and this never got in the way of our relationship. In fact, one of my fondest memories of her is the time when we played Super Paper Mario together and dramatically read of all the in-game text.
We eventually broke up because I developed an interest in marine biology and she didn't. In other words, if I were a more hardcore gamer, we would probably still be together.
