How many times must this question be answered? Learn Kraut and read it or read the Stalag edition. Any other recommendations are bullshit. Also if you get finish that check out Zweites Buch (Second book).

There was one English version made an abridged version for POW and shit and then later on there was a german-english (scholar?) Hitler designated to make a full, as close to completely accurate as possible, translation from German to English.

The James Murphy 1939 translation is the only one approved by the Third Reich.
Just been reading through responses to this question on forums after googling and that's patently false, it was not approved and is nevertheless a poor and mistranslated version with a generous amount of paraphrasing by Murphy.
As far as my research has revealed the Stalag version is the best and actually was released by the NSDAP.

Most traslations in literature sacifice something, but they may be better than nothing. Ancient dead tongues works usually persist in translations. You can learn some ancient tongues but you will never have the understanding/background and accents they had.
Hitler is really hard to translate, he writes very long interlaced sentences.
