Happens everywhere. They openly manipulated their results by hand to block any negative suggestion for the democrat side.
I followed and tested this several times since before the eletion day 2016. (Lock her up / crooked Hillary / etc.)
The only site that that didn't do it, was BING of all things, but nobody uses that. They actually re-introduced some popular suggestions, probably because of the Google hearings.

Google has been taking steps to stop conspiracy theories from spreading on their platform, and that's a good thing. Google is a private company and can do whatever they want. The first amendment doesn't apply to private to private companies. You'd know that if you read a damn book every once in a while. You don't like it use Bing or build your search engine

Duckduckgo uses google to search, ironically. The best I guess you can do is switch it up and use different search engines all the time, delete your cookies, and or use something like tails or a trusted vpn to not allow to advertise them correctly. On the other hand eventually they'll just block your access. With raspbian I sometimes can't even access google because I keep getting that weird traffic excuse where you have to solve captchas.

Anyhow, even if you can access privatly you'll be still dealing with censorship.
