rent for a shitty 1 bedroom is at least $1500 here so whatever

$0 because I still live with parents that actually love me

BASED

I live very cheap in a rented room, I am looking into getting a bigger apartment, but not making a dedicated effort since I don't mind having only a little space.
~430 USD for rent
~45000 USD annual income, I recently graduated and got a nice government job with better wages than I'd get in the private sector.

>tfw gf's boomer parents demanded we pay $800/mo for a 10x10 sqft room

I live across an ocean and have never met any of you, and even I from here can tell they wanted YOU to pay if you plan to live there, you lazy slob.

(You) : 0.01% of your income
me : 0.0095 % of my income

$1300 a month, Tampa Florida
literally half my monthly income

$675 mortgage
$100k salary

400 - 7800

If I stay away from ghettos, 25% to 33% of the monthly income.

$500 - $63.000
Small city, but I bought the apartment so it's just fees and mortgage.

>7.800
wtf, why? Autism bucks?

apprenticeship, the pay is 650 gross but the room/health insurance is 400 so i'm left with 250 disposable a month.
>muh great german economy
this entire fucking racket is run on slave labour, many companies even get free labour in the form of 'interns' aka students who have to work 2-3 weeks for nothing, pushed by their schools. Exterminate the boomers

I'm homeless and I make around $50+ a day holding a cardboard sign at a number of locations. I used to get more but my dog died. I charge my phone at the rest stop and connect to open Wi-Fi to shitpost when I can.

Not bad. You probably have more disposable income than most Americans.

Damn you said already "after tax", holy shit that's a shitload of money wtf

How old are you?

20% of my monthly salary

Meanwhile, free appartments are empty because the owners don't want the value to depreciate once worker scum populates them. Why investment into living space you don't live in is legal is truly beyond me.

Guess you have to work harder lêl.

34. Keep in mind, it's Norway, where salaries are high, but cost of living is even higher. Engineers with a siv.ing. (Master's of Engineering) title from NTNU are in high demand, and are paid accordingly.

meanwhile fresh arrived african niggers get free apartments, help with everything and 2k+ a month in welfare, makes me really rage

Same here in this multicultural shithole

~$1000 CAD rent
~$80k CAD income, ~$50k after taxes

Canada is bullshit, I also live in a prairie province and not a degenerate sodom like Toronto or Vancouver, cant wait to leave this commie shithole

I thought Germans only worked like 35 hours a week and you were paid for overtime

What % goes to some form of savings, assuming you’re not retarded with money and plan for a financial future

$0. I live in a friend's basement. Income $80,000 but credit score in the low 500s so finding a place to rent that isn't a shithole is nearly impossible. Saving money to buy an entry level home.

Hell is for ever!

i live in a somewhat expensive college town.. pay $600 a month to rent half of a small house from a family friend. my half of utilities (power, water, internet) is about $200 a month, more in the summer (hot where i live). it's 3 miles from campus and i ride my bike every day. i get paid about $1700 a month as a teaching assistant, so that's almost 1/2 of my pay

$1800 mortgage
$80k a year excluding overtime
2 income home so net income between the two of us is roughly $140k a year before taxes.

450 in Barcelona? So is it a shared room or something like that?

Friendly reminder that
> immigrants come
> move to working class inexpensive neighborhoods
> turn them into Africa / South America
> Supply of affordable housing shrinks because those places are not suited for human living anymore.
> Prices everywhere else rise

$600 - $35 000

2230kr (~245 usd)
all utilities + internet baked into the price already
25000kr a month (~2760 usd)

They were charging bay area rent. Someone had to pay for the $20 hats for the dog I guess....

Their life insurance payout has to have paid off at that point

400 euro/month, 12.000 euros/yearly + bonuses. It might sound bad, but it's laughable when you realize that I'm actually part of the upper middle class (average salary is roughly 500 eur/month).

I pay $1650 / month to rent a 2 bed / 2 bath apartment in California. Roughly 900 square feet.

2 baths for a 2 bedroom apt.? I'd rather save the money.

data mining but ok

Earn £1900 a month post-tax
£600 gets sucked up in rent, extra £150-200 depending on bills.

It's not terrible, considering the location and I have 2 bedrooms to myself but commuting fees kill me. I live in a nice, wealthy area outside of a main city.

cost of living is probably really low around there, no?

not really, not when you compare the prices with Central and Western Europe, because they are roughly the same or even higher in some cases. Food costs the most here, especially if you don't have any extended family that sends you food from the rural areas. Internet is dirt cheap, rent is kinda high (i pay 400 euros for a 2 bedroom apartment, 50 m/s, in a kinda good area), usual services are ok, going out is doable etc. If you're a foreigner that comes here, you'd think that you're in heaven, but for a local to earn 1000/month is quite something. If I recall correctly, Romania is on the second place in the world, behind Russia, in the accumulated wealth discrepancy between the 1% of the population and the rest. Essentially, we have an "oligarch-like" social class that is western rich, while the rest are balkan-like.

Is it worth coming over and living like an oligarch then?

sure yeah, with a salary of over 1500 euro/month you'd be able to live a very good life. I know a couple of foreigners that did this exact thing eg. like a dutch coming here and working in a cell center, speaking dutch and earning more than 2000 eur/month, or a lithuanian that came here, got hired in a cell center, spoke his own language and got more than 1700 eur/month (the more exotic the language, the better).

I've never understood how white people are able to charge their own kids rent

My dad would disown me if I ever offered to pay rent

In fact we have a clear system in the family: the eldest pays any time we go out for dinner

So if I'm eating dinner with my elder siblings, they pay for everything. Even though I'm 30 and make good money

I can literally work from anywhere (t. Freelancer) and my income ranges from $3,500 to $5,000/month, with an extra $600-$1000/month coming from ads on a site I made ages back

Is it worth it for a pajeet to stay there for a while? My wife is heading off to UK for a PhD and I plan to bum around before wr both head back home to India
