Coffs Harbour, the small coastal town where I grew up, has been taking a large portion of the Sudanese immigrants that have been coming to this country.
There is a government funded housing district called Toormina which used to be mostly harmless bogans, but has over the past decade or so become increasingly Sudanese. If you're white, good luck walking around the suburb, especially at night- you'll probably get mugged. The school has been set fire to twice (last I heard anyway) and there has been a big black iron fence built up around it to stop students getting out (and gang members getting in).
Which raises another point- the gangs.
We didn't really have gangs besides a few usually ratty teenage gangs like "the (insert postcode here) crew" or something like that. There would occasionally be some biker activity in the seedier areas of the town, but nothing really substantial.
Enter last year when I went down for Christmas to see my family.
Every time I go into town I see this big group of blacks riding around on pushbikes. patrolling near the local mall. They swarm around me and start saying shit like "ay white boy, where you goin??". I tell them to fuck off and leave me alone, they get closer, when a police patrol car drives around and they scatter.
A different time I went into town I see the same bike gang going up to some other black group of kids and next thing I know they're laying into each other.

One of the local bars went from nothing noteworthy to the second most dangerous pub in Australia (second to some place in Sydney) a few years back because of the amount of Sudanese who would wait down alleyways in the middle of the night and attack drunk people who were going home, about to hail a cab or on their way to the nearby McDonald's or bakery to get some late night drunk tucker.

It's honestly really tragic. This was a town where you could leave your doors unlocked 24/7, wonder around at any time of the day, now it's Mini-Sudan.
