I wouldn't say I've counted myself as a Carlson fan, but I enjoyed his show terrifically, especially anything to do with the creepy porn lawyer, even though I've never watched much Fox. Maybe its because I've mostly watched him in form of individual segments rather than watching him very often, but I definitely didn't get this kind of vibe from him previously. It started I think when he was on Shapiro's Sunday special, it just seems like he thinks government can solve everyone's problems. He says it isn't socialism, but he doesn't like the markets either, what does he propose then? I understand wanting to fix things, but going about it in a top down manner, as would be necessary with a governmental approach, and as he as specifically proposed, ie banning self driving cars nationally so as to save the jobs of truckers, has proven to more often than not do more harm than good. I respect Mr. Carlson as an owner of libs and as the absolute master of the Tucker Face, but I can't agree with his economic philosophy.
I hate celebrity worship, so the majority of people here are annoying... For being a talking head on corporate media, I agree with most of the things he says.
Easton Wood
I never really agreed with much of what he said, mostly because I wasn't watching for what he said, I was watching for the look on morons faces when he asked them simple questions, I enjoyed that immensely. Still do.
What I'm afraid of is that because of that, I fear we (a very wide collective we, not necessarily pol) have elevated someone with very bad ideas regarding economics and government roles in personal values to an extremely popular and possibly influential status.
Jayden Hill
he will run in 2032 and win by a land slide

Judging from what he's been saying recently, that would be a very bad thing.

Luis Sanders
shhhhhh, there are normies around
Adam Ross
ok, so when machines put the left side of the bell curve out of work, what happens then?
In the next 15 years over 1/2 of American jobs will be made obsolete. Automation is kicking in now, workers can't compete with machines
Tyler Morris
maybe like a mixture of nationalism and socialism
Justin Wood
This is an idiotic lowest-common-denominator populist layman's point. No one with any valuable economic knowledge believes that this has happened, or will ever happen.
Jonathan Gutierrez
you mean some kind of social nationalism?
Robert Edwards
so hes not a "muh free markets" dicksucker, big deal hes right. one of our biggest enemys is woke capital
Andrew Scott
>In the next 15 years over 1/2 of American jobs will be made obsolete. Calm the fuck down. There is no way in the next 15 years, except maybe most cashiers. Maybe in 30 we'll see the BEGINNING of a significant number jobs getting wiped out.
Aiden Ortiz
literally this. Tucker is unquestionably /ourguy/
Connor Hall
It's happening idiot, that's why incomes are completely stagnant for the working class right now. That's why the wealth of the rich is exploding.
Jack Long
OP wants to SUCC THE TUCC
Grayson Roberts
what has he been saying thats bad? or are you a jew in which case yes, it would be terrible for you
Aiden Scott
the problem with this country is weed and women make too much money. he nailed it.
Fuch yeah, he's clearly keeping his power level hidden but he's clearly signaling to us what he really believes. Just watch this and tell me he isn't a natsoc calling the (((international bankers))) youtu.be/mSuQ-AyiicA
Caleb Turner
You just proved you have no knowledge of the subject and should remain quiet
Isaac Cruz
He’s right, though. Free trade erodes culture and promotes internationalism. No one benefits more from open borders than rich corporate figureheads who get to cut their wages even further thanks to the never-ending influx of retarded foreign workers every year.
Lucas Reyes
No the fuck he won’t, nigger. Thankfully, Trump the best goy has effectively killed the Republican Party unknowingly I suppose. Florida is blue and Texas will be by 2020. Republicans will no longer be able to win anything of importance simply due to demographics alone. Thankfully Trump didn’t try and stop this and only accelerated this. Fuck the Republican Kike Party.
Asher Adams
LOL! Dude, these are claims made by left wing economist, Thomas Piketty, which have been totally blown out of the water due to shitty methodology. Wages have only stagnated if you look at them in absence of worker compensation, which has risen exponentially; wages have effectively risen. There has been no decoupling of wages and productivity. The middle class is not shrinking, either.
Ironically, this is the shit-tier populism I just accused you faggots of a minute ago, which you seem to vehemently deny. Shit-tier populism seems to bring the median IQ economic illiterates of the left and right together.
Blake Stewart
The cheaper it is to produce a good, the cheaper that good will sell for. Eventually this will continue until those goods are free. When all you need to produce food for one person is to buy a cheap Farmer Bot 3000 which make food for you in your back yard, then you don't need to buy food anymore, which means your salary doesn't need to be as high. And once this can be done with all your base necessities, then you don't need a salary at all. Money starts to become irrelevant at that point, as money is only needed to allocate scarce resources, and so it's useless if resources are abundant.
Adrian Jackson
Tucker is Jow Forums you faggot. Literally the only personality on TV that gives me any hope. He is NatSoc lite, and is moving even farther down that path ideologically as time passes. Capitalism is gay.
Oliver Hernandez
You've just proven to be a 100 IQ epic volk stupid subhuman luddite faggot
Justin Jones
Tucker carlson is the only person on television who asks the correct questions for the political times we live in.
People on here pretend he is "BASED" or "HE IS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING"
but Jow Forums was pushing for romney in 2012 so lets get some perspective
Tucker owns only because his show is extreme high quality on the absolute shitfest that is fox news.
If i have to hear greg gutfeld tell another shitty joke or his fucking retarded "animals are great" segment jingle i will shoot myself
Tucker Carlson is part of the psyop. When he gets “fired” for going too far that is also part of the psyop.
There is something very important you need to understand: the news is fake. all of it. the different networks are not different nor competitors. they are wrestlers on WWE Smackdown. the storylines are not real.
Joshua Cox
>I wouldn't say I've counted myself as a Carlson fan, but I enjoyed his show terrifically, especially anything to do with the creepy porn lawyer, even though I've never watched much Fox. Neocon Neoliberal shills on Jow Forums now huh? Jow Forums is a fascist NatSoc board and Fascism doctrine dictates the state directs the economy to serve the interests of the people, while still allowing property rights. This is normal economic regulation to prevent degeneracy, waste, fraud, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, USURY!
Now you Jew imposter faggots can fuck off, the thread is officially over.
The more a person or a movement opposes the Jew, the more valuable it is. If someone is attacked by the Jews, that is a sure sign of his virtue. He who is not persecuted by the Jews, or who is praised by them, is useless and dangerous.
Nicholas Green
He's honest and not fucking close minded. His point of view has been changed a few times on his show and put Ben shaprio in his fucking place. Tucker is a fucking chad
Brody Gomez
Blumpf had better fix those demographics before 2020
Ayden Bell
this. everything he espouses says hes a crypto NatSoc. its too subtle for most, especially if they only know the "official narrative". its basically a mixture of capitalism and socialism, without leaning too hard on either side.
Cameron Flores
Trump won because the working class has gotten blown out, that's his base.
A better way to look at it: there is a supply and demand for human genes. If your genes fall out of demand, you are going to pushed out of the gene pool. You'll find yourself bidding against others and losing.
The cold reality is that an average IQ person is going to be about as useful to the economy as a down syndrome retard. Capital is out-competing labor, and wealth is being centralized in the hands of an elite few. Giving tremendous power over everyone else
I think he's just trying to paint himself as more of a centrist since ancom neanderthals attacked him at his home in front of his wife and kids. Don't blame him desu

What I object to that he's been saying recently is his support of top down control of so many aspects of American life by government. He actively believes that self driving cars should be banned to protect truck drivers, seems to want to have some kind of ban on payday loans, and has disturbingly protectionist trade ideas. I think that if he were given the presidency and exercised a high degree of executive power and influence on legislation he would increase taxes on a multitude of factors other than income, would put heavy restrictions on technological advances (which has been a prime factor in American global economic dominance), and exercise far greater control over the financial system than he has any expertise to. The economic implications of this could be disastrous in my most pessimistic opinion, or simply lead to a rise in popularity of outright socialism in my more moderate one. Or both.
William White
LOL
No, it involves empowering them and giving them cheap shit, but you don't want that because WE NEED FACTORIES FOR ARRE VOLK!!!!!11!, even though automation and outsourcing have had zero negative effect on employment whatsoever, empirically. Populist swine.
Jeremiah Evans
Tucker is closer to real conservatism than any other Republican minus Trump. Remember conservatives used to be >non interventionist >protectionist >socially conservative and proud to call out bullshit >market utilitarian, not libertarian >nationalist Tucker's politics is the future. So much socially liberal bullshit flows in to society through capitalism, we should recognize that
Gabriel Wright
>""""""""""""""Consultants""""""""""""" Literally if AI for self-driving cars/trucks was PERFECTED tomorrow, it would be at least 10 years for them to become mainstream and wipe out a significant number of jobs.
Dominic Morris
Self driving cars are going to put millions of Americans out of work, in an economy where the working class is already struggling. This will effectively relegate millions more people to the welfare rolls, making them beholden to the left wing.
>disturbingly protectionist trade ideas erecting trade barriers helps the working class, by making their labor more valuable. It hurts the economic elite, who profit enormously.
>put heavy restrictions on technological advances Not really. Which countries have the highest rate of innovation/scientific advancement? The Scandinavian countries, who have Social Democratic governments. Technological advancement is much more a product of IQ levels than economic forces. Put some high IQ people in a room, they will invent shit at at a predictable rate
Jacob Howard
>the state directs the economy to serve the interests of the people, while still allowing property rights 1. Why do you have faith that the state would know how to serve the interests of thr people? 2. The state cannot direct the economy without encroaching on property rights, so how much property rights should the state "allow" 3. Ut is bot the state's place at all to "allow" property rights or any other rights, it is to protect them.
Caleb Lopez
>romney boomer GOP: the post
Cuckservatives get the rope first
Hunter Stewart
The 100 IQ 30 BMI masses will not be in a position of power to give anyone the rope-- feeling grateful for our indirect democracy :^D
LOLNO you literally will never be in a position of power to act out your power fantasies, because we have a system which recognizes that human intelligence and ability is distributed on a curve (thank God), and power isn't given to people like you. Read it and weep, volk!
Bentley Rivera
Just because simeone gets laid off doesn't mean that they are instantly and permanently rendered incapable of working. The economy evolves beyond what we think it is capable of all the time, what makes you think that so many people should be employed as truck drivers? What evidence is there that that is the best situation? Why should we stifle technologic and economic progress in the name if the status quo?
>erecting trade barriers helps the working class It also makes goods more expensive, off setting perceived benefits. Tarrifs and other trade protections are taxes that are paid, if indirectly, by the American people.
Robert Lewis
This was a excellent monologue, also loved how he referenced some (((coincidences))) in modern politics. Guys fucking based but I dont think hes gonna be on Fox for much longer at this rate
>system literally built around low IQ shitskin slave labor and manipulative financiers with captive government on a string
You seem to believe (((slavemaster))) stringpullers all have 100% perfect opsec. Seems unlikely my high IQ elite friend, although I'm just a wagey tending me field for the lord. *bows humbly*

>MUH MARKETS
Caleb Lopez
>banning self driving cars nationally so as to save the jobs of truckers Literally one of the dumbest things we could possibly do and I would vote against him on this principle alone. We should NEVER purposely make things more difficult. The ultimate goal of society should be that nobody HAS to work as a result of automation. If that drives us toward a welfare society so be it, but making people work just for the sake of work should be considered torture. That's what the Norks do to prisoners.
All-in-all though Tucker is great and incredibly valuable to Republicans.
John Roberts
Please post some Rare Tucks while you guys are at it. I need a folder
Anthony Mitchell
are you cuckservative faggots still really on the MUH GUBMNIT kick? we had this debate like 5 years ago, are there really still zoomers who don't understand the stakes? small government conservatism FAILED over the past 30 years.
we're not going to let faggot oligarchs brainwash our children, do everything in their power to hold our borders wide open, suppress our political speech, and give free handouts to the invading underclass at the expense of the middle class (which no longer exists in places like California, a model for the country's future if you idiots had your way) while they hoard unprecedented levels of wealth, power, and influence. These people need to be stopped while they still can be. The government is the only institution capable of doing it.
We're approaching neo-feudal conditions and you're okay with it because it's not the government with the boot on your neck? Grow up you young republican faggot. And Shapiro is a dirty scheming cuck who never stands up for us when it matters.
Hudson Wilson
Can second the shit out of this. Is a good start
Kayden Lewis
>the past thirty years has been characterized by a massive expansion of government power >"small government conservatism FAILED"
Restrict the right of anyone under 125 IQ to vote or voice their opinions.

Jayden Brown
>small government conservatism FAILED over the past 30 years In order for something to fail it forst has to try, and I haven't seen all if the past 30 years, but an exercise in small government conservatism, by all accounts, it has not been.
If you're referring to corporate monopolies as the boot we're okay with, I'm happy to entertain updated trust busting policies, amd most of these are sustained by government handouts in anycase, so reduction in overall government would have the possibility of reopening avenues of competition.
Christian Brown
I didn't say that. I'm saying things WILL get cheaper. I doubt they'd ever become free as there will always be an initial cost and maintenance required.
Benjamin White
Nice, love the vaporwave aesthetic.
Cooper Powell
Why don't you just chain people up and make them work in the fields. What's the difference?
Automation is going to fuck up a lot of industries and cause chaos to our economy, but just making people toil all day for no reason is not the solution. If I knew that I was working a job that didn't need to be done, but you forced me to do it anyway, I would kill you, no question. Of course anyone that loses one job must be inclined to find another one, but at some point, we aren't going to need to work to survive.
Landon Ross
>Money starts to become irrelevant at that point, as money is only needed to allocate scarce resources, and so it's useless if resources are abundant. Is there a way of quantifying this change? At the limit is complete lack of scarcity. Are there some effects that money has as goods become less scares? Besides effects like hyperdeflation where you're paying 100$ for the raw materials of a house to be 3d printed, something wierd probably happens to amount of information that price signals carry.

some kind of public militia service or infrastructure make work project, either is superior to eternally idle degenerating publics
Sebastian Bailey
he's an establishment, corporate shill.
History would never forgive the "right wing" of the country, professed lovers of the free market, for banning the free market. I could never take anyone seriously that says those two things - as the cognitive dissonance would be heard from space.
Guess what mother fuckers, electronic devices put tons of drummers and musicians out of work - robots put tons of factory workers out of work - computer programs put tons of clerical workers out of work - the spinning wheel put tons of spinsters out of work - it's called evolving and technology. That would be the single most backwards step that the human race could take at this current time.
Xavier Russell
Do those two statements contradict themselves in your mind? Think hard about it, idiot.
Jason Thompson
Damn, that's a strong reaction. That's why I come to pol after all.
Although I think its a bit of a stretch to say he's an establishment shill, the things hes advocating for are pretty far out from standard talking points abd he expressed heavy dissain that the republican party is the only workable one right now. Honestly if he was to run, I would expect him to run as an independent more thab anything else, not that hes going to run at all I think.
Angel Cruz
Shhh, its a secret.
Connor Watson
He's a social nationalist
Lincoln Ortiz
Some low-tier jobs would be difficult to replace with machines due to unusual or dangerous environments. More intellectually demanding jobs could be in greater jeopardy than people might think if there are breakthroughs in AI.
Technological unemployment will likely happen of course, so I agree with you there; but it could be quite unevenly distributed across the curve.
Anthony Murphy
>fighting against giant corporate oligarchies like Apple and Google on behalf of workers makes you a "corporate shill"
Wow you are fucking retarded. One of the dumbest unironic posts Ive seen on Jow Forums in a while. Learn the meaning of buzzwords before you just randomly spew them, fucking idiot. A corporate shill that attacks unregulated, crony, free market capitalism? How fucking stupid are you? KYS.
Gavin Nelson
i like the way tucks' points in the debate butt-blasted ben so hard he had to write a whole article about it
lets let 3 auto manufactures take over 30% of the economy and put 100,000,000 people out of work and on welfare. because muh societal space traveling moon people. youre a fucking retard and you have literally zero foresight.
Samuel Jenkins
LOL. Yes. They do contradict themselves. The left has won numerous policy victories and grown the size of government astronomically. Small government conservatism is not responsible for the failures of recent years, as it has not been the status quo, you fucking subhuman.
Wyatt Barnes
I've been getting this impression as well, and it takes brass balls to say the things that he has been saying lately, and he does it very well.
Find me another mainstream anchor that will willingly tackle the issues he does, as well as he does. Who else will be talking about problems facing men and the family in the current year?
Dominic Allen
You know unrest is a slow boil, i didnt expect a new ukraine tier riot in france but it errupted after years of paris being in a state of emergency, your welfare checks stop in february, the welfare recipients will riot and turn this party up to 11, now im just a casual observer but you really shouldnt jinx yourself there is quite the possibillity of your jew shithouse collapsing very soon.
