Eastern WA isn't too bad, but you have the good vs. gang hispanic culture.

I work with a winery, and the guys I work with are all super conservative, family oriented, and some even love Trump. It's literally only the immigration (and sometimes gibs) that stop them from voting to the right.

The Olympic peninsula is one of the most depressing places on Earth. It rains for over 300 days a year. It's constantly cloudy and dark year round. After 1 month here I guarantee you will move somewhere else. It gets old quickly.

t. My family has lived in the Olympic peninsula/Vancouver island for over 100 years.

Smaller circle is where the Coast Guard trains for some of their super hairy ocean rescues also, Nea Bay and that area has pretty good surf spots. The larger circle houses indian reservations and national parks. The national parks are world class for /out.
Down south near Ocean Shores and West Port you’ll hit pretty good surf also.
All in all those circles are very country and sparse with people sprinkled here and there.

This is just a common WA state trope.

Everyone I've met said they want to leave and travel somewhere else.

Usually they either end up traveling abroad and staying their while touting it's "superior culture" for the next 5 years until they come back to the U.S. Or they travel and realize that everywhere else in the world is just as shitty, if not shittier.

Then they settle down, maybe get married and have kids in communities either the same or similar to the one they came from and the cycle continues.
