Despite the fact that the Obama administration approved the sale of bump fire stocks on at least two occasions, the National Rifle Association is calling on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) to immediately review whether these devices comply with federal law. Gun owners do not live forever, when a gun owner dies of natural causes, either the wife or children of that gun owner then gain possession of it, most of whom haven't passed a background check.

Over the next 30 years, 100 MILLION guns will change hands with no background checks, no records.... simply because the original owner died of natural old-age causes and the gun which was hidden under the bed was then found by a grandchild who came to clean out grandpa's house and bedroom.

Every week, 50-thousand Americans die of natural causes, if just 20% of them own gun, that is 10-thousand gunowners a week, if they each on average own 2 guns, that is 20-Thousand guns a week ending up in the hands of anyone, nobody knows where those guns go, the entire background check concept is a complete joke.

Background checks are just about 100% useless.
