I used to watch destinys SC2 streams, back when that game was pretty popular. He was an asshole, kinda funny sometimes.
As someone whose watch him for years, heard some of the shit he has said, I can tell you his current political beliefs are fucking bullshit. He doesn't believe this shit, he's just jumping on a bandwaggon.
He looked at what was happening with online politics, the sjws, alt-right, etc, and picked a side he thought was safe and decided to make controversy against the other side.
He's doing this to make money, because he is a talentless hack with no drive to work for shit. He has an OK size following and decided to make money from that instead. Streaming is very low risk, cheap to set up and can make you a decent living. Notice he doesn't make videos, he does streams, as in no editing required.
It's kind of transparent when you start to analyse Destiny's argument style. Every single discussion filled with logical falasies, hes a HUGE fan of strawman arguments and appeals to authority, every fucking stream these two happen.
He doesn't believe the shit he's saying, he's just after ad revenue to pay for a house because "thats a good long term investment dawg", unlike his career.
