I’ve been a minority all my life because I grew up in a different country than my home country.

In a way, it sucks I don’t get to have the pride of being part of a nation, but in another way I have an even greater pride in myself as an individual and I definitely perform better intellectually than most people around me, and I also get swayed less by emotions that others that are not like me do. I also seem to be less afraid of authority and have an easier time climbing up social ladders.
