I would like to elaborate a little more. Say every person on our society was a picture perfect citizen. They didn't take advantage of anyone, and they truly did their part to help society. What are you talking about? Seriously blacks and Mexicans are one of the poorest groups in the United States. Why you ask? Because of the de-funding of the Social Safety Net that's caused by Neo-liberals and Neo-Conservatives with their trickle down economic policies. This is also effecting poor whites as well which is why more people in the United States are becoming poorer. Most teachers for example are now being forced to go to welfare because of the lack of funding being sent to educational facilities. This isn't an issue of race but rather an issue of class.

Real wages were falling in line with globalization pressures but household incomes were rising due to women entering the laborforce and discretionary incomes were rising as everyone foolishly used their home equity as an ATM to buy shit. So, on the surface, times were good but beneath the hood, things were going to shit and it all was exposed in 2008. So the prescient ones in that era would have been able to foresee the events that have brought us to today’s class distinctions. Other trends were in play as well of course. So, where will we be in a decade from now? Assumption should be that the elite class will prevail. The social marxist shift is if anything accelerating. Trump should be considered a short term anomoly. The next pressures against the elites will be the rise of the AOC millennial socialist with visions of progressive tax rates and wealth redistribution dancing in their heads. And if the rationals lose out to the social marxists, I’m kind of hoping the kiddies prevail. If it cannot be fixed through rational means, then let them break it so that it can be rebuilt. But reality is, once broken, it will be beyond repair. Mandarin classes will be highly sought after.

I’m with you on the issue of class distinction being the overriding issue of our times, but beyond that, you need to develop a greater understanding of what is in the array of potential fixes other than some simplistic mindset that we can just redistribute and still function as a society/economy.
