A lot of studies are showing that Asians both have higher iqs on average, and the genetic predisposition to alleles which cause intelligence at a higher rate than whites.
Why doesn't history show this? If this was the case, Japan, Korea and China would've been the heart of scientific and cultural innovation. But these 3 countries combined barely have more scientific discoveries than Poland historically.
When you combine the countries of Germany, France and the UK over a period of 500 years. Assuming without contact from Europe, East Asia would've taken millions of years to reach the same level of advancement, when considering this regions historical rate of advancement.

1) lack of alphabetic writing in China
2) Lower verbal IQ leading to thinking in more "common sense" mode rather than systematic
3) Europe is full of peninsulas, so there was bigger incentive to explore world
4) Being fucked by steppe nomads
5) Centralization is bad (I am not sure), and Chinese geography encourages it
6) Some level of contrarianism and aggressiveness is necessary for innovations

I think it's easier to say, a culture has been superior at [such-and-such], rather than to say one culture is superior overall.
Because to rate overall superiority, you have to rank certain values on a weighted scoring system, and there's going to be heavy bias that's based on the cultural values themselves, circular reasoning.
For example, a white culture might value exploration, military strength and music as important traits, and other things as unimportant, then use that to "prove" they are superior.
Meanwhile the asian ranking system will rank things like social harmony (low crime), intellect & poetry, and come to the conclusion that Asia is superior.
Both sides will argue about the other side: "Those things aren't important and don't make you superior to us."
It's all very retarded. Much easier to compare individual traits than overall capabilities.

It you are going to go the smart but stagnated explanation then the go to is the massive Chinese Examination system which was basically a standardized test to determine the middle class between the years 600-1400 or something. Tested your ability to memorize Confucius which requires intelligence(fluid memory) but doesn't require any critical thinking at all. I don't like this explanation because it doesn't explain IQ scores of the Koreas or Japan.

For a yet unexplained reason East Asians underperform on integral metrics like economic or scientific output. I believe a Germanic or even a Slav country with Japanese average IQ would do better after reaching its full potential. I don't know what would be best for us as a society but high productivity gives people options.
