Syrian Army reinforces border along occupied Golan Heights
BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:30 P.M.) – For the first time since their military operation in the Al-Quneitra Governorate, the Syrian Arab Army has reinforced the border of the occupied Golan Heights, a source told Al-Masdar News.
According to the source, the Syrian Arab Army’s 5th Division sent reinforcements to the area near the 90th Brigade base in the Al-Quneitra Governorate.
Reinforcements from the National Defense Forces (NDF) in Dara’a were also redeployed to this front as the Syrian Arab Army’s High Command takes several measures to beef up their defenses.
This move by the Syrian Arab Army’s High Command comes just 24 hours after they placed their air defense forces on high alert across western Syria.
On Monday, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) attacked three different sites inside the Al-Quneitra Governorate; this resulted in the destruction of two Syrian Army garrisons and the former Al-Quneitra Hospital.

Netanyahu confirms Israeli military shelled Syrian province to prevent 'Iran entrenchment'
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed the Israeli army hit targets in Syria in an attempt to discourage Iran from gaining a foothold there. Israeli shells have reportedly hit a hospital and an observation post.
"We operate every day, including yesterday, against Iran and its attempts to entrench itself in the region," Netanyahu said as he was about to depart to the Middle East conference in Warsaw, Poland on Tuesday, confirming a Monday attack on Syria's southern Quneitra province.

Russia said on Tuesday it was ready to facilitate the start of dialogue between Venezuela's government and opposition but warned the United States against intervening in Caracas' internal affairs.
Russia has sided with President Nicolas Maduro in his stand-off with opposition leader Juan Guaido. Maduro retains control of state institutions including the military, but most Western countries, including the United States, have recognised Guaido as Venezuela's president.
"We have been maintaining very important contacts with the government of this country and stand ready to provide a kind service in order to facilitate the process of finding ways out of the situation," Tass news agency quoted Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.
He also said Russia had made some proposals to Venezuela on settling its crisis but gave no details.
