Well, there is no "official stance" of the GJ about EU and euro. I guess you could find people that don't understand what the EU really is, and how much damaging having the euro is. I can only talk of Paris, and a few provincial towns I know of, but here I'd say the majority is willing to destroy the EU and take back our national money. I mean, people aren't calling for a "frexit" (what an abominable word) or setting EU flags on fire out of love for the 4th Reich.

But yeah, even though I think most GJ agree more or less that we should leave the EU and drop the euro, it is not yet a prominent topic. Nevertheless, there is, I think, a good reason for that: I feel like the GJ movement is born out of the 2005 movement against the European treaty. First time left and right united and won (as it should be, naturally). Thirteen years later, no union, no party have done anything about it, as if nothing happened in 2005. Thirteen years later, Frenchmen unite once more, explicitly without unions nor political parties. So, if I'm right, the fight against the EU is already on. Some people just haven't realized it yet.

There has been two types of protests: traditional ones (union led protests) and "wild" ones. If you're in a union protest (permitted by the prefect, supervised by the police, etc.), you won't get hurt as long as you're not stupid. If you're in a wild protest, be there EARLY, because you don't know where everyone will go, and if you haven't someone to tell you where the protest is and where it's going, you will wander aimlessly for a long time (done it, never again). There, as long as you're in the middle of the crowd, you'll be safe. Fights happen of the crowd's fringes. Fighters keep peaceful GJ from getting hurt, peaceful GJ keep fighters from getting caught. Just don't be on the first line, and NEVER go in small streets if you cn help it: police forces usually hide there to arrest isolated GJ.

I think that they are great, and the fact that they fught the curent elites is amazing, BUT:
They need to be more radical and violent
AND
They need someone to guide them, someone they can look up to, who they can follow.
They need to be more organized and more systematic.
They need a well developed party that has an ideology and has a plan, that will replace the curent government in case something big happens, revolutions on their own are no good, you replace the curent regime, and then what? Place another trash party like the socialists or republicans? Leave a power void? Some sneaky (((devil))) will turn this destabilization in his favour, and France will end up in the same spot it began.

The price of blood has to be paid first. Then, if the police force or the army decide no more blood should be shed on government's orders, it is a revolution. If they don't, it is a civil war. People are always afraid of civil war. Again, who wouldn't?

I do agree overthrowing a corrupt government leaves room for another corrupt government. Corrupt politicians should at least be locked behind bars, and a new batch of politicians should replace them. I am not sure they should come from a party, though, as political parties are part of the problem, today.
