Never grow up.

What if I make it big in forex?

Attached: 4vGrZ.jpg (300x324, 27K)

Then it's too late since you're already grown up.

There’s more to it than mindless wage slaving, it’s contributing the wellbeing of those around you. Being a small stroke of paint in the big picture. Doing something that you enjoy whether it’s the craft or the people around you that make it tolerable.

That’s not to say you shouldn’t make smart decisions about getting ahead or avoid anything that makes you uncomfortable. Only children hate the idea of work.

You avoid it by working your ass off when young, earning a decent degree that can give you independency and more free hours for yourself, then invest that time in meaningful hobbies and activities

life's what you make it, there's no prize at the end if you do better or worse than anyone. fuck everyone else but your close circle and do what you wanna do in life.

Blessed thread. You must give your best wisdom about the journey of life.

The neet life may sound nice, but it's actually very depressing. I hate have to be somewhere everyday at a certain time, but in a lot of ways it's better then just sitting on my ass browsing Jow Forums all day.

There is no way to avoid work OP, unless you were born very rich or otherwise luck into a lot of money. Even if you start your own business you are going to have to work everyday. Don't be scared of work though, work can be fulfilling and fun.

Regardless of what the pop culture tells you, life means work if you want to live it well and enjoy being alive. You can take distance from social conventions, sure, but sooner or later it will always require effort, discipline and constancy from your part - usually and better sooner than later, so you can enjoy enjoy your spoils once that is done -

But what if I make my money work for me?

Then you'll have to find something to work on, otherwise you'll fall prey to nihilism and depression. Why do you think rich former athletes become coaches? Because they need the money? No! They do it because it's fulfilling. Find something that fulfills you.

If you are talking about stocks/crypto trading, then that will still require work. That stuff is pretty complicated, it takes a lot of studying and experience to be able to succeed at that. It's also very risky, you could lose everything in a day if you make the wrong move. Maybe you'll get lucky and catch the next bitcoin at the right time, if you don't it will be a lot of work.
This guy is right. Life is all about reaping the spoils of your labor, whatever form that might take. Without labor there are no spoils.

You will die. First cause of death of old people is retirement.

If you are very good and talented at something, you won't have to work all day.

Otherwise, you will have to grind.

But also depends in which country you live in. In some, even if you work all day, you barely have enough food to eat.

Watch the black mirror s1 ep2.

So basically, work purifies the soul?

>doing nothing

Yeah, if you come home and stare at the wall then this is the case.

You must have a hobby or interest to pursue? There are literally like 40 things I can name off the top of my head I would like to try. You just need to be creative.

Yes, and not only that, it gives you a sense of meaning. Be it from giving a good service, making justice, healing people or cleaning a counter, you are a cog in the wheels of our existence like everyone else, and there huge value in that because it reminds you we all come from the same place, we are all done of the same thing and we will all die.

and there is huge value*

Don’t let anyone tell you there’s a right or wrong way to be an adult. People who allowed themselves to become mere cogs in the machines of other people’s lives wanna tell you their slavery is freedom.

Work makes you free

Man imagine being this brainwashed.
>Only children dislike being told when to wake up, when to shit, sit in a commute, and then sit at a desk for the majority of the sun shining day while the world passes you by
>wait until Susan makes her classic "three day old baked tilapia" in the microwave user, it's a hoot!

Big difference between being a NEET and not wanting to work 8-10 hours a day until you drop dead from the stress.

>being a cog is exciting! try not to trip on the existential dread of the meaninglessness of your life on the way in the door :^)

This. The reason I work so hard now is to be able to live on my investments have fun doing whatever I want when I’m 25.

>being a cog is exciting! try not to trip on the existential dread of the meaninglessness of your life on the way in the door :^)
If you can express yourself in a logical manner and not baiting, I'll show you how you are wrong. In the meantime, have a (you)

Fine. I'll bite. Work gives barely any meaning unless you do something that is truly life saving or changing. Shit like "good service" and "cleaning a counter" are not meaningful things, they're hollow shit pushed on you by someone else looking to reap profits from you.

Realizing we're all going to die and we all come from the same place isn't meaningful, it's just expressing how truly pointless we all are in the grand scheme of things. For 90% of the world (probably more), if they died today, the world and industry would just keep on moving without them.

There is very little fulfilling about watching the world go by out a window while you work on your 15th Excel spreadsheet of the day. Kids playing, birds chirping, you wasting away the best and healthiest years of your life on someone else's dime, with barely enough time to yourself to eat, sleep, keep in shape, and try to maintain your relationships with friends and family.

Talk to girls like you'd talk to your little cousin.

Get on some antidepressants. Your mind has been warped by what you've read here. Remember the first thing you read was "do not take anything on this site seriously."

Antidepressants aren't going to help. What I did was find a job that allowed me a lot more flexibility so I could go live my life.

I'm not saying work is 100% a terrible awful thing, but some of you guys who are sucking the dick of the workplace are laughable. Work sucks. Very few of us are fortunate enough to be in careers where it doesn't become your entire life.

what if there's nothing that I enjoy and the things I used to like just feel like chores now?

Yes, giving a good service and cleaning a counter doesn't represent inmediate meaning like saving a life, but you must be able to see trough it. For one part, you are still giving and taking care of your fellow human beings, for the other, you are in fact giving more profit to the big industry than receiving, but this is temporary, the whole idea of a job like that is to push yourself and adquire discipline to do something "bigger", if you want to call it like that. You need a positive outlook from this activities.

And what if the world and industry keeps moving after you die? What is your life, if nothing but yours and only yours? What about the things you have learnt, the good deeds you have done, the care and love you put to things? Aren't those things meaningful to you - and only you -? Are those corrupted because you made them in an industrial context? Haven't you learnt anything from Kaczynski? That's what matters, what you choose to do of your own life, nevermind the system, which will always exist. You can't allow them to narrow your view and limit your spirituality just because it's productive to the system to do so.

Finally, I am not defending the idea of being a wagecuck from 9 to 5 all the years of your life. I am saying you need constancy to grow and make better and "bigger" things, but even if you have to stand a shitty job for a while, that can have meaning if you decide it is so.

I know my perspective requires a philosophical aproach similar to the stoics and a spiritual recognition of the existence of your soul, so we can always say we have to agree that we disagree.

Okay where does fucking girls fit in with "helping your fellow humans"? Because I want to fuck girls. Are we supposed to be so caring and altruistic that I can't have a aggressive penetrative sex with a woman?

Of course you can, who said something against that? Sex is a physical thing (thanks designer for giving us a body to fuck with) and by satisfying your desires and those of someone else, you are doing good, even if you are into BSDM.

How do I get to where I'm having aggressive penetrative sex with a girl? Asking for the girl.

>Are we supposed to be so caring and altruistic that I can't have a aggressive penetrative sex with a woman?

Sounds like you're fucking wrong if you think it's an aggressive act that hurts your partner.

>Are we supposed to be so caring and altruistic that I can't have a aggressive penetrative sex with a woman?
If it helps, I'm neither of those things but can't have aggressive penetrative sex with a woman.

Are you the OP? I thought you were worried about having a menial job and not about having sex.

What is fucking supposed to be like then?

This, what example should I follow?

Interracial BDSM anal porn and doujins.

He means is not an aggresive act and it doesn't hurt your partner if there is consent, even if you do unspeakable things to her like a golden rain

So I can do any sexual act I want with MY woman?

>Only children hate the idea of work.
I'm an adult and I hate the idea of having to rent my time out to a bunch of people and take orders from the top down all in the name of escaping the guillotine of poverty and death. It's people like you who prop up the status quo

If you mean MY as in a sense of property, no because nobody belongs to someone.
If you mea MY as in a sense of commitment and consent, yes, you can tell her to take a shit on your chest if she consents to it.

OP I go to my buddy's coffee shop almost every day after work and hang out, chat with the other regulars, read, and lurk. It's pretty nice. I go to the bar on weekends and get laid by drunk tourists (live in a tourist area) from middle america. I don't always get laid, but it's always fun having drinks and talking with all the people. Some really crazy and fun times have been had. In the spring I dress up and go to the renaissance faire with a bunch of bros who all also dress up, in the summer I go to anime expo, and the winter I go to the charles dickens christmas faire (similar to a ren faire, but in victorian london). If there is a cool concert in between, I'll go to that.

I imagine when I settle down and have kids I'll stop going to the coffee shop and bar so much, but I can probably still hit those cons and faires with the youngsters.

As a man who has watched porn and masturbated several times a day since the age of 7, I have no desire for sex or women. Is this because of porn or am I just low test?

Maybe both, but Ockham's razor says it's the porn. Porn wires your brain to get off at looking at two people pleasing each other instead of you having pleasure with someone else.

>become an awkward incel who avoided having fun as a teenager or young adult, and then end up resenting everyone around you for being 'degenerates' as you hoard more baseball cards

>working for 8-10 hours a day, going home and doing nothing? How to avoid this life?

There's 24 hours in a day my man. Yeah okay sure you gotta sleep for 6-8 hours and maybe you work somewhere shitty and have to take into account like 2 hours of commute but you still have plenty of time to do plenty of things in a day.

It's your choice to spend it on Jow Forums or whatever.

That is just sick, you can work your ass off and also have fun.
I really wonder what this postmodernism bullshit has done to your brains sometimes, user.

Sorry but when I read a post like I see it as some r9k "red pill" MGTOW bullshit or whatever where the plan is to avoid partying and friends and girls and drugs which are all things that you should experience when you're young, to instead spend your days with your face buried in a book and computer screen, and then grow up to be that 45 year old virgin who spends his days at a model train store with other 45 year old virgins.

I see it like that because that is literally advice that gets passed around this board sometimes.

Ok, that's not what I meant when I wrote that.
You are supposed to live your life to the fullest, that involves both fun and work. When you are young, you have more energy to do stuff. When I was 18 I was washing glasses on a restaurant while going to Uni and getting shitfaced on the weekends, partying and having good sex. I had so much fun, earned a decent amount of money, self respect and experience.

Yeah that makes sense. Being a teen/young adult you can physically afford to drink your ass off and still go to work or class the day after. Socially, you're the in the time and place to make friends with weird hippy stoners or whatever and try mushrooms or smoke weed or whatever. You should also study and work hard.

Now I'm in my 30s and if someone wants to go drinking I'm like OH BOY I HAD THREE BEERS TIME TO GO HOME AND SLEEP IT OFF FOR 10 HOURS AND TAKE SOME ADVIL TO MAKE SURE I'M NOT HUNGOVER OR THROW MY BACK OUT FROM SNEEZING TOO HARD and I'm not gonna try and like buy drugs off of 17 year olds or try to fuck a 16 year old

That's life man. I'd hope they told us to squeeze the marrow out of life when we were in school. That's why everyone needs to watch the Death Poets Society. Do everything hard or not do it at all: Study, work and fun.

no it's working for 8-10 hours a day then going home and getting more shit done then passing out
Gotta git gud

>Only children dislike being told when to wake up, when to shit, sit in a commute, and then sit at a desk for the majority of the sun shining day while the world passes you by
>wait until Susan makes her classic "three day old baked tilapia" in the microwave user, it's a hoot!
It’s not my fault you work at a shitty job. You chose those circumstances and judging by your attitude you will continue to live with those circumstances.

Don’t waste my time you losing bastard.

I usually hate "motivational" speeches and shit, but this one by Arnold Schwarzengger on youtube is actually really good.

youtube.com/watch?v=xFbZNHeM4cQ

I don't agree with that little bit of republican ideology he sneaks in there with the "people succeed when they have no safety net" but overall the general message is there.

I also like that bit where he says "You should sleep for 6 hours a day... now I see some of you shaking your heads thinking you need a full 8 hours.... sleep faster!"

Sounds like you need a change in career dude.

>but some of you guys who are sucking the dick of the workplace are laughable.

No one is doing that. At most some people are looking at the silver lining. As bad as some of the jobs can be, at least we're not stuck assembling Nike shoes for like 8 cents an hour.

I know plenty of people who works Jobs. They don't have fulfilling careers, mostly cause they never went to school, and they're in their 40s an they work at their airport and shit. It doesn't matter to them because that job is only there to pay the bills and let them enjoy their lives. They still make the best of it by making friends through work and whatever.

That's because you are a spineless pussy. They pay you because they need your service. You don't need to act like anyone's bitch. Tell your boss to suck a dick and he will promote you for it. You are only a slave if you have the mind of a slave.

Work a good job. For example, plumbers are able to work part time because they make so much money per hour.

become a neet
the downside is nobody respects you
