Genuinely depressing

This is the world we live in. Modern """"success""" stories start with living in a fucking tool shed, and end in debt for the next 30 years.

Wait, they're not paying cash for the house? They only saved up for a down payment? Yikes. I'd live like a hobo for the former but definitely not the latter.

It used to be the case that parents housed theirchildren until tgey could buy something.
For some reason nowadays they kick their children out at 18 and force them to use 50% of their income to pay some kike's mortgage through rent.
Truly retarded.

Literally has nothing to do with that.
Finance + restrictive zoning + restrictive raw materials = expensive

Increase demand, and what happens?

Attached: pic.jpg (660x396, 38K)

everyone is assuming that these two actually held jobs and saved money during this time. I am quite certain they are nothing more than welfare leeches living off the system all the while crying for bernie or yang.
two individuals actually working and not shouldering any living expenses could have a down payment in a few months, not in 1.5 years.
these two are the poster children for millennials. you know that they are just going to be purchasing some shitty tiny home anyway. what would their actual down payment be for that? $5000-7500?
someone should have padlocked their shed as they slept and struck a match to it.

The solution is bringing in more brown people. That will lower costs.

The only thing increasing the price of the home is finance. Zoning and raw materials are negligible in comparison to artificial interest rates.

bullshit.. It took me years of living in an apartment to save up the down payment for my first house. if you ask me, they took the easy way. I didnt have no fucking shed to live in.

This. The 30 year mortgage is the biggest scam to have ever been launched upon the masses and they go for it. The next is high interest credit cards. Fuck it, fix that shack with your down payment and call it home.

That always works kek

You can build a perfectly safe home to live in for about one year's worth of decent pay (60-100k) and just be done with it but folks want it all and they want it now. Oh Goyim do I have a deal on a new home mortgage for you!

I was homeless for 3 years and lived in a tent....get on my level

That's before the IRS rapes a bunch of it from you and if you can get by with a cost of living of zero for that year.

Yes, this. Though I'm not sure 1 million a year is high enough. It should be more like 10 million a year with instant citizenship. That way every election is totally unpredictable as each new horde stakes its claim.

>whiney bitch boy can't imagine sacrificing his current comforts for a better future
golly gee why do people hate millennials

I'm so glad I have rich parents. They own 5 properties (rent out 3) and they've said they'd help cover my down payment for my first house.
It feels good to watch my savings account increase every month and know it won't be touched any time soon.

>sacrificing hard af
>being financially responsible
why is this so difficult?

No one is saying to do it in a year. Live simple, live with family or on family property in an old RV and save up. No car payments (old Toyota/Hondas go forever) no high credit card debt, cook at home work hard and put the money together in 3 to 5 years.

Millennial path to home ownership? Live in a third world shack, then take on a multi-decade debt so you can have shelter. Got it. Meanwhile, some nigger out on the savannah has that problem covered without ever having to pay a red cent to Shlomo's bank.

Can't wait for the leftist revolution that will subsume the West over the next decade, especially in America. You can't preach the merits of capitalism while it pushes ever-increasing numbers of people into poverty and shit lives and expect people to not vote in socialism and gibs. In America at least, I think 2020 will be the right's last chance to ever win an election, at least within the context of our lifetimes.

And you'll have fucking earned it too, for being so Jewed as to believe that your own countrymen deserve poverty because they can't sell themselves for as many shekel's as you can on the Jewish owned slave market.

You had a car. You chose to pay the rent Jew.

>t. Retail worker ass blasted he can't afford a 300k house on his hourly wage

>someone should have padlocked their shed as they slept and struck a match to it.

Geez.

>Work four months a year in the US, spend the rest of the year feet up on warm beaches in Asia and the South Pacific.
>Gonna vote Yang for the neetbux.

Thats the thing, nowadays younger people have to live exceptionally poor to afford a down payment. Meanwhile boomers could work and live comfortably while paying off a house with a single income. It makes no sense. We have to work way more harder, to make fuck all money, to put a downpayment on a house which will put us in debt for 10+ years. Meanwhile we have every old cunt telling us we're lazy and have 0 work ethic. I bet everyone hears the same thing from old people, "when I was your age I had a house and a family" as if its that easy for young people to do it. Before 30 you have 2 choices, get in debt for a house or get in debt for a family. You can't have both comfortably. You HAVE to struggle. Unless you pull in 100k+ with a partner pulling in a salary that is close to that, on top of that your partner can just turn around and take the house and kids after paying off the house

>Modern """"success""" stories start with living in a fucking tool shed
I wouldn't call them successful. In fact, they're only written about because of their struggle. There are millions of people who didn't have to do that. They're the real success stories.

>brags about being worthless shit
lel, ok kid

>Unless you pull in 100k+
So just do that

I want to hang journalists and traitors (satirically of course) not thrifty millennials

boomers legacy

KIKES COUPLE LARPING THIS for gibbers/online cashcow , an they Never lived ruff .. Folk already saying its a lie on local tv .. keks can these cunts get stoned to death

It wouldn’t be a problem really if we weren’t already paying mortgages on our education.
We should start a movement where everyone defaults on student loans. Can’t repo what’s in my head faggots

>boomers legacy
go on sven try to explain that ?

>Literally has nothing to do with that.
Then why were these two living in a shed rather than their parents?

I pull in 116k and work 10-12 hours 4 days a week. I can live comfortably on my own but I absolutely cannot afford a house. Can't afford to live in a shack or RV either because of how hard my job can be. I have a tidy little savings set up but I have to choose between 1. Saving for a downpayment, then going in debt for most likely a decade. or 2. Investing it for retirement since no more old age pension (another thing boomers don't have to worry about). If my girlfriend was pulling in the same amount and we shared everything then it might be possible, unlike nearly everyone else our age, but then we could drift apart and she can just take everything. It's not worth it, way too risky.

Wooow

get better slut

Thinking of doing the same thing but not saving my money for a house.

Isn't the aussies housing market turbo fucked though?

Don't live in a shitty urban/suburban hipster town. Move out to the sticks for a few years, buy a house. If you don't like it, save up and move out.

Central Illinois here. $20 train ride to Chicago. Surrounded by white people.

Own 2 houses. One is a renovation I'm working on. The other is a 2300 square foot 2 story with full attic and full basement with 2 car garage. I make ~$60K a year.

I hate these whiny assholes who choose to live in the most expensive places and then complain.

Reminder to non australians that a house like this in Australia literally costs over $1 million.

>tfw my boomer parents own 4 houses and are looking to buy their 5th and absolutely terrified of labor getting rid of negative gearing

Attached: images (45).jpg (601x510, 78K)

Don't forget free school, housing, guaranteed jobs, UBI...all lowers costs.

Boomers are the worst people ever.

>would you go 18 months without water to save for a house

I own 2 houses.

Either live outside of the big towns/cities where housing is much cheaper and deal with commuting or get fucked by the rent/mortgage Jew.

You'd probably have to pull in triple that to afford a house in London I bet. 100k salaries are fuck all in the grand scheme of things but its still almost double what a lot of my mates earn. $85k is the average salary here and I don't know anyone earning 80k. It's all 50-65k or miners hitting 90-110k for basic drilling or 160-200 for higher education mining jobs.

>two individuals actually working and not shouldering any living expenses could have a down payment in a few months, not in 1.5 years.
Where the fuck do you live?? Where I am, 5% down on the average home is ~$47,500.

I think so. Some houses in my mums neighborhood cost 300k minimum and they're all former public housing ones. If you want something newer and more middle class looking you're looking at around 600k for a good suburb.

Yeah a small 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house an hour away from town will cost you over a million.

Because 90% of australia live in the 5 major cities its getting crowded and expensive as fuck. Not to mention there are so many chinese millionaires here buying up everything driving the housing prices up higher because they don't give a fuck if they over spend to get another house.

Only boomers and chinese can buy houses.

Just live exceptionally poor for awhile, so what? Thrift store clothes, old honda car, ALDI for food then cook it. Btw I'm no effing boomer, all this shit boils down to deciding what you want and figuring out a way to get it.

>Where I am, 5% down on the average home is ~$47,500.
Move out of Cali or NYC or whatever shit hole you live in

Why would you try to buy a house in a very obviously upper class area, if you aren't upper class yourself?

That 1 million dollar house would be in a capital city though like Sydney or Melbourne. Otherwise you would be looking at 500k or so

Tell em Merl!

Wow she's quite loyal

just stay at home and live with your parents user and save money!

that envy
cry moar cunt
thats awful
This flipper guy gets it moar than entitled sharted twats here
>absolutely terrified of labor getting rid of negative gearing
dont understand that term ?
I got a Huge victorian 3 floors house in the North , an I invested in small holdings, cattle/sheep /Farm up in Cumbria an me an my Brit/pol guys here
are moving when the race war happens if no hard brexit .. ok
WHITE POWER BRO .

Houses outside of big towns/cities still cost around 400k on average. Thats the thing, our house prices are fucked for virtually everywhere except maybe the outback.

I just had a look and there is a tidyish house for $400k which is about 40 minutes away from my house at the moment, I'm already a 45 minute drive away from the heart the nearby major city (not capital, just the local "city" center"

I'm renting a nice expensive house and saving up for a deposit for my own house which I will be able to get in about a year's time. And I have a shitty job that's only 50% above minimum wage. What are these two tards doing to have fucked up financially in such a spectacular fashion?

KEK, you think $950,000 is upper class area. No Lukas, that's for a non-updated 1970's shitbox. Anything nice is over $2mil.

How much do you earn a year? and how much is rent for your nice expensive house? A nice expensive house will set you back close to $500 a week

being this ENTITLED LOSER CUNT .. TOP KEK You two OD on skag would make me cum buckets

No disrespect but you dagos are brogans an shitty chavs at best thos in the upper classes an Fear .. that their lil one spawn is a Based Chopper ..!

You Dig me ok ??

>that envy
Hell yes I'm envious. They had everything handed to them then shut the door. We have no chance to do anything, stopped with redtape at every move.

Why can I go on Trulia.com and find nice houses for around a third of that in almost any city I can think off that isn't LA or NYC?

>They had everything handed to them
Lel. This attitude right here is why you'll never be successful, regardless of the circumstance

This

>$500

where, in shitsville? i rent a nice place for 2k cause i'm not a filthy fucking peasant but i'm not rich

My grandparents lived in a boxcar in North Dakota that the building materials for their house shipped in. Quit being a gigantic faggot. If you want something then you have to sacrifice for it.

But also fuck the jew banks and politicians making housing expensive as fuck.

Found the silly inbred northy.

Unlike your pitiful little stain on the map, we have a massive landmass where tourists like you can't handle it and die (lets not forget your country considers anything pushing 30 Celsius as a news worthy heatwave). Expecting someone to move 6+ hours away from job opportunities to only afford a basic small home is ridiculous. It's not being entitled, it's being realistic.

You rent a house for 2k a week? You are full of shit, moneybags

You an inner city (and im talking inner) house in sydney or melbourne?

US best cities to buy a home are Rapid City, SD and Oklahoma City. Both are cheap as hell and have Constitutional carry. If a nigger or Native tries to break in to your home you can put a 6 inch hole in his head and the state government would probably give you a medal.

I could swing $2k/mo, but as a single guy that's kind of a waste compared to what else I could be doing with the money. When I was just out of college we got the total rent and utility payments down to $250/mo per person for a while. That was dank.

Reading the article, it sounds like both just rocked up to tazmania without jobs and decided they wanted to buy a house there. Also sounds like they are low skilled workers as they both found employment at a local salmon farm.

So you're saying they didn't have every opportunity, then regulated everyone else out? Are you just pretending to be retarded?

>thinking that housing in the suburbs is much cheaper than the city
it is always the opposite, that's why gentrification is at an all time high because white zoomers would rather deal with the nogs temporarily and get more whites to move to their neighborhood rather than communicate 4 hours every day

How many boomers do you think had a hand in regulatory law?

based

Attached: 1463063523446.jpg (3093x2059, 602K)

>paying $200 per week on train tickets alone
awful idea

Well, every one of the people passing the regulations are boomers..... or voted for the retards.

Ok. That's ridiculous, I agree. How about, umm, don't buy a Santa fucking Cruz if you aren't rich? Remember, when talking about real estate, location is everything

*don't buy a house in
I'm past by bedtime

There are Boomers who unironically applaud this

>Santa Cruz

Attached: 1307482914909.jpg (500x300, 27K)

I don't work in Chicago. I work about 500 feet from my house. I actually fucking hate going to Chicago. I am just pointing out how cheap it is to go do something in Chicago if you want. You don't have to love amongst those animals. Its like a zoo...

Attached: WasGettingCaughtPartOfYourPlan.jpg (1024x663, 79K)

They shoulda just voted Yang.

And yet you blame boomers as a class simply because they share an age bracket with a tiny minority that actually had any influence in government? You do know that government generally tends to be full of people from a generation or two older than yours, right?

>not shouldering any living expenses could have a down payment in a few months, not in 1.5 years

yeah, don't look up the average home price in Toronto, buddy

Teddy seemed like a pretty good guy minus the bombings.

Attached: 1548999254574.gif (444x250, 3.04M)

Yep. For those of us who don't have boomer parents who made it out okay to shamefully bum around with, this is the only way to afford a fucking house.

found the boomer

Don't worry 3D printed homes are right around the corner.

>that government generally tends to be full of people from a generation or two older than yours, right?
Yeah, that makes them boomers. These regs didn't exist really until the 80's, so yeah, it was boomers.

If that means I'm not a whiney ass punk, yea

You don't have parents?

Would your parents really not let you live at home with them if you were employed and working towards a downpayment? That seems awfully cold-hearted to me.

I don't know if it's a lack of reading comprehension or logical thinking, but you really do sound like a nigger complaining for mo gibs.
