I'd argue that teacher strikes, or strikes that are taken place during work hours make sense though. The workers at least have something to threaten, these children have nothing. We lose nothing by having them skip a day of school, all it shows, to me at least is that they don't care enough to suffer through some form slight discomfort in the hopes of achieving something.
