I very much doubt this. I've had Tinder for a while, and I have succeeded on Tinder in the past, those few rare cases where the conversation went differently than it does 90% of the time. The VAST majority of women on Tinder are only there for attention, nothing else.

They have Tinder accounts to have an excuse to publish their professionaly taken photographs of them doing "cool" stuff publicly, and that's it.

~60% of the sex I've had has been through Tinder, 40% has been from irl encounters. So while I've not been "dependant" on Tinder for sex, it's still mostly from there I've had sex.
