Uplifting News General thread. We're all going to make it bros, and the world is a more beautiful place of greater hope and optimism every fucking day.
no, fuck that. if your iq wewre above 90 you would know it is the most depressing time to be alive in human history and you should feel bad for your delusional post.
Juan Edwards
>Canada's poverty rate has reached the lowest level ever recorded
>In 2017, 3.4 million Canadians, or 9.5 per cent of the population, lived below the poverty line, down slightly from 10.6 per cent the previous year. The definition of the poverty line is something of a moving target. Last year, Ottawa established a new definition of the poverty line
FUCK OFF
Evan Cooper
>93% of Indian households now have access to toilets ok, but do they use them?
Brody Gonzalez
>Homeless NJ teen overcomes homelessness and gets 17 university offers why be homeless goy, take this student loan instead
Alexander Fisher
People where I live are losing their jobs left and right. Even me.
Kayden Foster
Why are you so concerned about the pov that maybe we live in the best of times user? The times with the greatest economic equality, lowest early mortality, and best social mobility? Sure, the world ain't perfect but it's getting better user.
Does this challenge your world view?
David Moore
I'm sad to hear that user. The march of progress takes us forward, but unfortunately not all move at the same pace.
I hope for nothing but the best for you.
Elijah Powell
Student loans are about 1.5 trillion now. Many aren't able to pay the debt off now as their is no work, and if they do get employed right away they are living at home because the money required to pay off the loans is too much and debt help is just another scam. Funny the banks and government came together and made it so yu were forever locked into that student loan debt unlike your parents and grandparents that could just walk away or claim bankrupt and start life. Now the young are off to a shitty start in life because of debt to student loans.
Adrian Gray
Such is life, nobody ever said it was gonna be easy. Thanks.
Landon Flores
I'm not going to argue that the world is uniformly perfect. Clearly it isn't. But we live in a better world today than our grandparents.
daily reminder its no coincidence the news spews out nothing but toxicity decade after decade
they are serving their multidimensional overlords who feed on your negativity and depressive attitudes
well done OP
Jayden Nelson
Do you feed on misery? Uplifiting threads once in a blue moon is the shit people need, i need it for sure.
Ryan Moore
Good initiative user. I support this general. Fuck blackpill retards and defeatist idiots. Bump.
Jacob Anderson
A lot of these are bullshit.
>Three US cities have ended chronic homelessness By giving them gibs and cheap housing on the taxpayers dime
Canada's poverty rate has reached the lowest level ever recorded >They redefined the poverty limit
>Homeless NJ teen overcomes homelessness and gets 17 university offers Actual good news, but I am skeptical. Something is fishy.
>93% of Indian households now have access to toilets >access to toilets >access They aready had this, they are communal toilets with lines HOURS long, it's to the point most just down use them.
>New non-invasive test developed to help men survive prostate cancer Seems fine.
>Trump's budget includes $300M to eliminate the HIV epidemic within 10 years This should not be publicly funded. I also highly doubt it.
>Algeria's totalitarian Bouteflika agrees to step, in peaceful democratic power transfer Yep in completely fair and democratic elections... I'm sure.
>Kenya has reduced poaching rates 85% for rhinos and 78% for elephants Less rhinos and elephants.
>California drought officially over after 7 years That place needs to wither and die.
Robert Scott
The fallacy is to expect things to become perfect. They won't. Instead, find in these examples how things are getting better.
Luis Perry
>Yep in completely fair and democratic elections... I'm sure. That has happened in the past. Read more.
Caleb Jenkins
>greatest economic equality I bet you think more economic equality = good
Generally, yes I do. I don't believe in socialism, but I do believe economic equality is a sign that the economy is working better for more people. It's also a proxy for so many things - health, education, employment.
Asher Johnson
Fucking commie.
Joshua Allen
I love this thread. You need a UNG yt channel I will donate.
this thread unironically needs to exist. daily. I’m so fucking depressed swallowing all these red pills...it feels like there’s literally never any good news. any good news actually reported by the media or on social media is always good news (or flat out lies) for everyone but whites and is usually actively dumping on us to the cheers of the crowd of everyone including at least half of us, who all openly hate us. everything is miserable and it’s all somehow my fault for being white and being born in the 1st world. I’m so tired..
>The fallacy is to expect things to become perfect. They won't. Instead, find in these examples how things are getting better. good outlook user
Hunter Jenkins
Crabs in a bucket. You're being a fucking nigger. Literally go anywhere else you sad fat piece of shit. People find others who are like them. This place is full of bad news and you love it. You love getting information that enable your shit dick lifestyle. Fuck you NIGGER
Jason Lewis
Fuck u user I’m a pajeet born and raised in the US. Sure I go to India every winter and ya I’m drunk cuzof st Patrick’s day. But while I love the white man and ultimately appreciate everything he has done both directly and indirectly for me I will never stop shitting in the street. Never. N E. V. E. R it’s my culture and I’ll do it as long as I’m breathing. #kill all Muslims and 90% of brown people around the world. This world is for Based brahimins and whites only.
Ryan Bailey
You fuckers ITT are delusional and retarded, but you wouldn't be "progressives" if you weren't. You're even completely clueless about what progress actually means anymore. You're so blind you don't even know that you're blind.
Noah Reed
Nah I'm not a progressive user. I think one thing this board gets right is that our current political environment is fucked.
But we don't climb out of the shithole by continuing to shit on each other.
Jeremiah Smith
Great we'll all live long enough to be plugged into the Amazon brand psychosomatic emotional pain generator servicing the archons 24/7. Jeff Bezos and Zark fuckterturd are going to be given immortality for the price of billions of sacrificed humans. But at least the indians are finally pooping in toilets.
Here's my pic related good news. If niggers stopped being niggers and started being wholesome familys, we wouldn't need to feel like they are a threat ,correct?
I went to the doctor. I got thyroid tests done and it turns out a bad diet and hypothyroidism combined with smoking weed and watching porn and videos of people dying MIGHT MAKE YOU FUCKING DEPRESSED.
Here's some good news, I finally realized that we have enough of a crazy world where you can literally tune your own reality. If you want to believe niggers and jews run everything, they will. If you want to believe that the sky is blue because jews shit shekels into a bag and then gave everyone aids then youll read flat earth threads until you start actually believing it.
Here's some good news, I realized that most of the people on here are seeeking validation for there extreme views. I'm done with this shit. Jews are fucked up. Arabs are fucked up. Asians are fucked up. Americans are fucked up. Let's stop fucking congregating in the fucked up stories of the world while we purposely seek hope-sucking information. youtu.be/43gm3CJePn0

Good on you, user. Sounds like you got a lot on your mind. Good on you for putting yourself first and tuning out from the group hatethink for a while.
That's a nice pic you shared op. That family put a lot of effort into their costumes, cute.
Mason Bell
inb4 samefagging, I meant user not op. I am op
Liam Powell
No world changing news here but after spending the past two semesters homeless and on the verge of losing my financial aid, I have graduated with a 3.6 GPA in Biochemical Engineering and have a job that's paying me 67k right out of the gate. In less than a month I'll have a home to live in.
Adam Reed
congrats user, that's world changing for you at least. similar situation myself, broke but working on something that's going to pay off and pull me out of the gutter so your story gives me hope that I can get on track too.
Alexander Scott
Ty friend. A lot of us are breaking. We are being proven correct but we can't let our spirits break. Op please do these threads more often. We need to be sharp and well informed, not bogged down in guilt and shame and hate
Noah Rivera
I think his point wasn’t that things need to be perfect, but the way things are getting fine is disengenuous. Reclassifying what the poverty limit is on paper allows for a lower poverty rate, whereas in reality nothing has changed. There are still people who are in the same amount of impoverishment but now probably less entitled to gibs.
Burying your head in sand doesn’t make things better, just because you’re hiding under the covers doesn’t make the badness go away.
I’m sure his points are apt for most of the other stories too, I am not one to wallow in nihilism but don’t celebrate a con or a lie just so you can temporarily feel better.
Benjamin Murphy
Based. Keep with it. Every time I felt like giving up and just dying I reminded myself that I should at least stick with it to see if it goes anywhere. I'm glad I did. I get my first paycheck this week on Wednesday (starting bonus of 1k so it'll be 3.5k) and I have an interview with a landlord tomorrow.
Justin Moore
Maybe your grandparents were just losers?
Henry Gutierrez
Fuck that, poverty and fear of poverty are powerful motivators.
Carson Sanchez
Fuck yeah user the chans need more of these types of posts
Benjamin Gray
>93% of indian households now have toilets >7% don't >7% * 1b = 70m hearty kek uplifting indeed
Kayden Bell
>93% of Indian households now have access to toilets Having a toilet and willing to use it are two totally different things.
thanks user good luck finding a place. enjoy that first night of having a safe warm secure place to stay and the little things like being able to take a warm shower and having privacy etc I'm not homeless thankfully, just scraping by while I work on my shit but people too used to comfort take a lot of those little things for granted. can't wait till I earn my way to being able to go eat an actual meal in a restaurant, gonna be the best tasting meal of my life cause I'll have earned it
Brayden Garcia
I had those things, albeit under a very unhappy roof. I'm really going to enjoy being able to stop associating 4-5pm with anxiety and nervousness. (TMI probably but that's when my father would come home...)
