So I've seen a lot of Jow Forumsack parents lamenting the few choices of entertainment they can expose their children to without submerging them in Marxist propaganda. So lets start a comprehensive media review and put the results into an infograph that can be shared to parents and prospective parents who don't know where to turn, as well as any older siblings who want to help their little brothers and sisters along the right path.
I have nearly no experience with graphic design but I'm inspired so I'll try my best. I want to do a jpeg for >movies >books >vidya >anime (maybe) >TV shows (maybe)
each entry will be rated with a pro/con system and put into a tier >Top tier >high tier >mid/filler tier >low tier >marxist tier
Age range should be learning to read (5ish) up to teenage (15-16). After that they should just move on to the many other Jow Forums-reading guides targeted at adult audiences.
>fags to busy Yangposting and arguing whether the kiwi was a Mossad agent to do something meaningful for their fellow man sad

Thanks user, following this thread for interest as I currently have 2 daughters, 3 yr old and 3 month old.

if one person is helped then it's worth it.
Fuck it I'm just gonna start typing and review everything that comes to mind. If I've finished and no one has replied then I'll let the thread die.

>Babbies first book: learning to read
>Dick, Jane, and Sally These are the books that my mom taught me to read on. They've been out of classrooms for decades now, but you can still order them online or find them used. A tried and true classic produced in the 1930s, with the accompanying social values of the time.
Pros: >simple structure makes the books easy for children learning to read to grasp quickly >all White for most of its existence. Black characters were not introduced until after 1965 when the books were already declining in popularity >shows traditional gender roles. The girls wear dresses, the boys wear pants, and there's no confusion about who is who >shows said gender roles to be something natural and wholesome, not an artificial prison >doesn't advertise to your kids. You aren't turning them on to a "brand" by reading this See: all the merchandise targeted at kids using more modern series
Cons: >their major criticism is that they're...a little boring. Many of the little "see spot run" stories can drag on for both parent and child after a while. >simple syntax means that your kid will get the basics of reading, but will quickly reach the point of diminishing returns in terms of how much they're getting out of it >Final Verdict: Necessary but not sufficient. Good to start them off with but you should be moving on pretty quickly since once you've mastered the material the stories don't exactly "rope you in"
Thanks Nederfriend. Congratulations on your elections
>Dr. Seuss we all know Dr. Seuss. I remember reading him for a looong time when I was young. Some of his more political stories even hold weight today and he's been appropriately vilified by the left for some "incorrect" beliefs
Pros: >much more colorful and interesting than Dick, Jane, and Sally. The stories while wacky, are very interesting to follow >some more complex syntax and tongue twisters can help kids develop good pronunciation by reading aloud >some stories, like the Bread and Butter Wars (my old favorite) provide a pretty good tl;dr for the cold war and other events, told in a way that kids can understand >accused of racism for his anti-jap cartoons in the Second World War
Cons: >Not all of his political messages were exactly Jow Forumstier >"Horton Hears a Who" is seen as his "atonement" for the jap cartoons >"The Sneetches" is an attack on anti-Semitism and has a "we're all really the same and the rich just profit from our division" message All that being said, they can be interpreted in constructive ways. Teaching kids not to judge others over petty bullshit is a good message, so long as it is not manipulated by those seeking to push an agenda. When they're old enough to understand, you can talk about the practical downsides to diversity and the malign influence of (((certain)) people in our governments. Making them hate Blacks because "fucking monkey subhumans lol" will just create thots who burn coal as a way to rebel.
>Verdict: Solid books but the messages must be approached carefully to avoid having them twisted
>Ok my kids know how to read and want some actual stories now tier
3 WORDS FAGGOTS: >Chronicles >Of >Narnia If you want an actually interesting story that is packed with good morals and values, without being too preachy. A book that is adored by Christians and Atheists alike despite its strong religious themes, look no further.
Pros: >an actually interesting continuous story line >good character development >w e w lad if you want biblical history here it is. Metaphors and allusions out the yin yang(gang) >alright movies. I don't remember them being anything spectacular, but the ones they made were always passable and enthralling to me when I was younger >good for quenching that "magical fantasy" urge without succumbing to the Harry Potter hordes
Cons: >if you're a pagan or other right wing anti-Christian "kike on a stick" subscriber, you're probably not gonna like these too much
honestly that's really all I can think of. Maybe I'm just biased, so if anyone else can think of some other Cons then by all means let me know.
>reposting marxist faggot edit shoehoerning their worthless pseudointellectual marxist faggotry and butthurt into previously decent reading list >c-come on read my edgy selfmasturbatory trash >right-wing people >reactionary right >lotr >definition of national socialism peddling marx and his trash >marx >hegel >Diarealectic of Fedoratipping might as well recommend flat earth theories
why dont you useless marxist faggots just kill yourself instead of ruining everything you touch

The youth are the keys to the future. The left somehow really kicked our ass on that count for several decades.
>Harry Potter D A N G E R A N G E R You know its bad when even normies are memeing about J.K. Rowling's weird sexual inserts and ret-cons. Honestly, I'm gonna go against the grain on Jow Forums here and say that the source books and movies were not that bad. They were passable children's story novels based on an undeniably cool concept. The writing isn't all there, but for its target audience, it didn't really have to be.
>wait so if it's all right then what's the big problem? Because this is the internet age and the source material cannot be looked at in isolation. The first problem is the author. Kids read Rowling's books, like them, like her by extension, and begin to trust her due to that enjoyment. Then she throws in a bunch of scat-fetishism and gay sex, totally bypassing you the parent and going directly to the now HP addicted kid through social media and the internet >but I won't let my kid have any of that social media crap good luck fren. Unless you're living in a log cabin in Siberia, they're gonna see this stuff somehow.
The second problem with HP is the fans. HP has a MASSIVE "fandom", packed to the brim with trannies and gay fanfiction and art of Malfoy fucking Dobby in the ass or something. The author and the fanbase feed off each other, and any kid that gets too deep into the "HP fandom" is pretty much doomed barring some act of God.
>Verdict: look, as much as you're gonna hate this, they're probably gonna see HP shit sooner or later. And banning it for reasons they don't understand will just make them resent you. My advice? Find better material to get them hooked on so they feel no real attraction to the poorly built HP universe, but trying to shield them from it entirely is a doomed cause in the current year
That is the only version of that image I've ever seen on here. Post the better one if that one offends you so much
>might as well recommend flat earth theories you didn't read the picture did you? Nothing about that infograph advocates for Marxism, but it admits that Marx is a hugely fucking important figure in Western history, like it or not. At the very least, you need to understand your enemy to beat him. Understanding the core of our enemies belief system is the key to predicting their future moves, counteracting them, and figuring out how we ended up in this shithole situation to start with.

alright I'm sore from typing all this shit. I'm going to go lurk now. If the thread is still alive when I come back, I'll keep writing. If its not, then I'll copy my previous stuff and use it as bump material for a new thread

Good thread OP. Here is my contribution for young kids: Polar Bear and the Rainbow. amazon.com/Polar-Bear-Rainbow-Glitter-Books/dp/1405476052 It's a book about a little baby polar bear who, at first, dislikes his white fur because it is boring in comparison to more colorful animals, but his mom helps him learn to love his white fur.
>nothing by Pat Buchanan He's actually recognized the race/immigration problem and given good reasons against immigration He also ran for Republicsn against George Bush in 1992 but sadly lost
