Can we agree that capitalism is causing more harm than good these days, and needs to die?
It has run its cause, it is exhausting itself, running out of ideas while at the same time requires new things/novelty to commodify, It turns everything it touches into a soulless object to profit of. Everything capitalism devours becomes the same, it seeks to reduce everything to sameness while giving the impression that its new and something different when its really not. Why do we keep getting Hollywood remakes or music that sounds like music from previous decades only a more generic and reduced version of it, this is whats happened to our culture as well, culture is manufactured and handed down top down by the media complex machine, its just that culture has also become a generic cheap imitation of itself. Capitalism makes people materialistic and selfish, it alienates people from each other and has destroyed community and social relations, turning people into mindless consumers and status seeking narcissists, society is now a nihilistic cesspool of consumption for the sake of consumption, capitalism has invaded every aspect of our lives and commodified sex, social relations, sickness and more, it profits on degeneracy its fucking depressing what has become of society today.
Unfortunately socialists all want to blacked every white country so it's like someone being like "I'll cure your cancer on the condition that I shoot you in the head afterwards", the end result in both cases is Brazil
no because this board is retarded and full of easily confused racists. If you sat someone down and said: 1000 people have more wealth than the bottom 4 billion humans, and corporations are destroying the environment, the reaction would obviously be to form a strong socialist or communist movement
Instead, people move right, because they cannot imagine a world where billionaires and white people are the most important things in their live. Sad!
Levi Martin
Yeah its time for communism
Juan Baker
not necessarily. I think libertarians can get woke by realizing that borders matter.
>the reaction would obviously be to form a strong socialist or communist movement sure, if you're completely ignorant of history and how a cadre of 1,000 top soviet/party members have more wealth and power than the bottom 99% of their country as well.
Sounds to me like incels don’t know the difference between capitalism and accelerationism
Adam Thompson
>Can we agree that capitalism is causing more harm than good these days, and needs to die?
I will NEVER give you my stuff, red.
Owen Smith
Exactly capitalism created this shit that allows for more degeneracy to spread even quicker and also helps alienate people from each other.
Carson Kelly
Its time to stop being a kike shill.

We have a situation where the "capitalists" for want of a better word - the 1%'ers, the billionaire class, the elite - have managed to subvert both the left and the right of politics to suit their purposes. The left and the right keep each other occupied, while furthering the agendas of the powerful corporations - The left push for the censorship of the individual - The right push for the freedom of the corporation - The left push for open borders (increased labour pool) - The right push for limited labour rights/protections/wages - The left push for criminalization of controversy - the right push for insulation of corporations from legal consequences of controversy - the left push for the elimination of nationality - the right push for the elimination of regulations, taxation and tarrifs on international trade - The left push for welfare and subsidies - The right push for tax reductions on the rich and on corporations
Ultimately, the normal people on the left and the right end up hating each other, blaming each other for problems While the capitalist elite sit back, rake in the money and can do whatever they please.
Capitalism isn't the problem per se, the subversion of the political process is.
(inb4 "da joos" - some are, some arent. People who want power and are good at getting it, accumulate more and more, regardless of ethnicity or religion)
Michael Williams
>bad shit at low >good shit at high Nah, just get money out of politics or at least force transparency.
Justin Thomas
Also I'm against tech solutionism, I believe that technology will not solve all our problems, yesi t solves old problems but it creates new ones ( social media whoring, phone addiction, spread of degeneracy, eroding our politics), its to the point where its causing more harm than good, social relations are disintegrating because of it, people aren't talking to each other any more, social media is fucking cancer and perpetuates narcissism and status seeking by competing over getting more likes , now there isn't just competing over jobs or status in the real world now you have to worry about your image online as well.
Nathan Powell
I believe if it wasn’t for the racism, anti Semitism, and homophobia. The nazis could have been a good thing.
Matthew Green
Capitalism commodifies sex, social relations, culture and push toxic ideals, it is the problem.
Cooper Nelson
The same subversion of the process could (and has) occurred under other economic systems. Changing the economic system won't fix it. Ensuring the masses are aware of what's going on will. I'd rather a politically engaged and active and thoughtful (the "thoughtful" bit is important) population who disagrees with me than one which just follows dogma & moral panics, or is entirely disengaged.

> I should take advice from someone who spells like a retard
Nicholas White
Those other systems had capitalism implemented in them, as long as there is capitalism there will be degeneracy and nihilism.
Austin Lopez
Capitalism is the use of money and reinvestment, the rest is your mental retardation doing free association. There are HUNDREDS of ideas, but nobody cares. The clown world is governed by the soulless "elite" for the stupid masses.
Caleb Wright
> Those other systems had capitalism implemented in them You seem to be using an overly broad definition there then
Juan Adams
Capitalism is the reality we live in, its a system that govern everything else, culture is part of it and created by it, capitalism is more than just transactions, money and investment its like a religion in a sense, the worship of the market and business, shopping as a religious ritual, the economists and entrepreneurs are the new prophets and gods that knows whats best for the market and society, at least thats what people believe.
Leo Morgan
They has an exchange system and money right? then its just capitalism.
Liam Foster

The only problem with Capitalism is that the workers let the owners stagnate the wages. People should be getting paid much more per hour than they do.
Oliver Wilson
We had that, it was called unions and workers rights, it kept capitalists in check.

In communism you trade your food coupon for a handjob. Not much of a difference except for the unholy poverty and hunger
Communism has never really been tried so you dont know what it would be like, reading about it it sounds like a pretty good idea, stalinism on the other hand which was the ruling ideology in USSR was a shit show.
Andrew Allen
I'm not advocating for socialism.
Colton White
Capitalism was never the problem. Widespread literacy along with human greed is the real problem. Most people are too dumb to need to know how to read. A system of symbology would suffice for that group. Human greediness is far more common than altruism. Combine that greediness with a literate population that mistakenly think's its smart -- and capitalism goes awry.
>Venezuela is doing well as a "socialist country" under Chavez for a bit and used as an example of the success of socialism >Human rights abuses. Food shortages. no toilet paper. >Venezuela isn't TRUE socialism
