This. There was a time when I first starting discovering so much of this stuff when I would use Jow Forums all day every day and I ended up in a really dark place, becoming very angry at the world. Maybe it's because I'm married with a family now, but I also come here much less often and when I do it's to blow-off steam more than learn anything beyond current news.

I guess you could call it voluntary blue-pilled just for the sake of your family. I still come here to just rage and dispel the illusions for a bit.

Without a doubt it’s horrendously bad. The worst is the people who become radicalized and don’t see it aka redpill as they use for code word then suddenly begin praising killers and shaming people who won’t do the same. Really deranged people

Honestly you could just end up in IRC rabbit holes and find most of the stuff people still talk about now with absolutely no moderation, more like Jow Forums before grey area, but this has always been more tame in some aspects considering how late it started.

it was a deadpool where people promoted failed companies and relished on people beng taken to the cleaners in the dotcom blowup. Many people on the site were former dotcommers and had serious drug addictions and debt and pyschotic disorders from the high flying days.
