The worst possible interpretation you could give regarding the polling data thing is that they gave it to the Russians as part of a conspiracy so that Russians could focus their troll farm efforts on those groups indicated by the data.
The flaw in that argument is that firstly, the troll farms didn't focus their efforts on anything that could be linked to that polling data, and secondly, there's no evidence that such an arrangement existed and simply handing over polling data isn't proof of anything.
