It's not paranoid to not trust a government that has proven itself to be untrustworthy over the past century. I would even argue to say it's more paranoid to just do what they say because they're in a position of power and you are too afraid to question those rules because you might face their wrath.

The government already has your fingerprints if you were born. They typically finger print you at 16 months in most big hospitals and even some small ones just as part of your 2 year plan.

Most kids from the early 90's have their gotten their fingerprints taken from the government at some point. In my elementary school, it was mandatory for all children to get fingerprints taken. Anytime you want to do anything with travel, doing a background check, or whatever you need fingerprints taken. So yeah they've probably already got them

Hahaha i also was adamant about giving my fingerprint when i got my drivers license. I thought of the exact thing and cut my thumbs in various spots for this. They only get prints of your thumbs. They saw both my thumbs were injured and delayed my drivers license application until they were fully healed. They would NOT let me scan them no matter how much i insisted it was ok. They dont take shit at the DMV so i didnt press it any further and just accepted the delay. Theres not much you can do about it.

Plus if youre not doing anything stupid or illegal then you have no reason to worry as for why the government gets your finger prints.

You can't just cut your thumbs that would be self harm and if they investigate they might hospitalize you.
