How to get rent money

I'm about to get evicted because I can't pay rent and nobody knows it but me. I have only about 4 hours left to pay $909. I'm recently unemployed but I'm looking for work. I wish a miracle would happen

Ask your parents--unless you've already left them bone dry lmao

If you are desperate, take out a payday loan. You'll buy yourself at least a few weeks, but be careful not to fall into a debt trap.

Get a job ASAP and save at least 20% of every paycheck until you have 6 months of expenses saved up for emergencies.

t.finance guy

You can sell your blood for emergency funds if you're an American.
Other wise get a job and start saving like mad.

Where do you live?
In America it takes months to be evicted from when you get your eviction notice.

My parents filed for bankruptcy recently so they're about as broke as I am. I don't qualify for payday loans because I'm in the military (reserves). I'm hoping to get put back on active duty orders soon. Till then I'm just gonna keep looking for work and silently freak out.

I've never been evicted before so I didn't realize it took months

I've never been evicted before so I didn't know it took that long normally

Did you get an eviction notice or are you just not going to make rent this month?

I got the eviction notice and some lawyers phone number, now I have to pay them to get out of the process so I can go back to paying rent. I'd have more saved up but I'm recently divorced and I'm paying child support as well now

yeah, you usually get a few months after your first notice
Not memeing. Go to the personalfinance sub on reddit. They have people who actually know wtf they're talking about

Thanks, I'll check it out. It'll be difficult to budget till I start making money again though

I know it's probably a bad idea but anyone know of any shady lenders? Lol

Have you looked into getting a credit card?

I have one and it's maxed out, I got lucky and got all the debt in the divorce

How so? Then why do some notices give you 30 days? Depends on state laws too, some states give you more time, others don't. Also depends if you have a lease, tenants at will have less legal power if they don't even have one.

>go to rich area
>see kids hanging out
>wait for one to fall out from the pack
>corner him
>relieve him of his shoes, jacket, sunglasses, and any other easily removable clothes
>put in backpack
>run run run
>sell on grailed

It's 30 days until they take action. It usually takes months before they can legally have you forcibly removed from the property.

Are you hot? A lot of guys fantasize about being with a military guy and would pay for that privilege

I'm not hot lol. I'm skinny and nerdy looking

Still worth a shot, some guys are into that. I've hooked up with two different guys that had recently gotten out of jail and needed money for court fees. They weren't exactly my type, but it was still hot

Rent regs are pretty standard in all 50 states. Usually...

> You get notified 3 days after your deadline that you missed a payment

> some landlords start adding daily interest for missed payments, like half a percent or a full percent per day. Check your lease agreement

> After 30 days no rent you get a notice that says in another 30 days you will be evicted

> After 60 days of no rent most landlords will begin the eviction proceedings. But even that takes a few weeks some times. They have to get the sheriff to post a notice of eviction on your front door. Then they will wait until you are gone and remove all your stuff and change the locks

> after an eviction the landlord will often take you to court for the unpaid rent (and win) and you will have a $ judgement against you for rent owed. And your credit score will drop significantly 100 to 200 points.

There u have it.

That would be a tempting offer if I wasn't straight

You think most people work only because of the enjoyment they get out of working? That's almost never the case. People do things they dislike or outright hate for money all the time. Why is this different?

You've got a point, just not something I've ever considered

You should. I've met some escorts in my area that can easily make $1000 a week seeing only a handful of clients.
