Either you believe in them or you don't. Conditioning yourself to uphold beliefs held by the masses for no apparent reason is even worse than being a bugman since YOU have a choice.

You don't sadly. It is an unrealized reality the liberal is entering into when they adopt those values, the reality they are subverting their own insterests for a foreigner or someone who does not share their values, beliefs, or interests and enterprises. Modern liberalism is in it's core deconstructionism.

You can still be liberal and not subscribe to identity politics

Don't become a reactionary. If some blue haired sjw personally attacks you don't diametrically oppose their beliefs out of spite. Reading also helps. There are tons of social theorists that are worth reading. Remember that not all progressives share the same ideals and they are very devisive amongst themselves.

the fact that you made this thread means its too late

Being worried about being a cuck pretty much makes you a cuck, dude. Stand up for what you believe in.

Just because your Chinese frogposting BBS says you're a cuck for not playing on the right team doesn't mean they're fucking right. Be an informed person who did a lot more than picking some side's groupthink. You're being a faggot.

Form your own opinions, don’t parrot people. Be stubborn and disagee. I will cannibalise the right side whenever I feel like it.

>out of spite
Don't be this faux centrist who doesn't understand nationalism user.

It doesn't matter what you believe as long as you're in shape you won't be a cuck

OP here
I consider myself somewhere between libertarian and green in all honesty
For example I hate big business but don't want the govt to get *too* powerful
Am I able to hold my ground or should I pick a side?

The absolute state of gay alien skulls

Cucks refuse to fight for what they believe in and are generally reactionary.

You can be a moderate in any one category and find yourself in good company, just so long as you don't get caught up in sensationalism. Which to be fair is pretty hard in the current political climate.

Personally, I'm pretty far left on economy. Like, democratic socialist tier. But I'm libertarian/right wing on everything else. I don't consider this a contradiction at all, and I think it's the only policy position that can solve the world's problems. Pure capitalism is outdated. It doesn't work anymore in an age where megacorps can rapidly accumulate power and use it to crush the competition. I largely agree with liberals on economy. But all the other baggage that comes with the democratic party can go fuck itself.

Realize that the right wing is actually cucked
>constantly begging for more authority
>bootlicking 24/7
>being practically slaves to the wealthy
>pic related
If you want someone else to run your life and you're happy to go face down ass up because of how much money they have you're a cuck

As for being a literal cuck, liberal soibois get the bullet too. As a side note; letting tradition and or religion control what you think and how you live is also pretty cucked

Attached: Screenshot_20190601-165654_Gallery.jpg (1440x786, 421K)

>Personally, I'm pretty far left on economy.
>But I'm right wing on everything else

Sounds like a tankie.

Nah. I'm against Communism because it always turns into a totalitarian regime. Communism is authoritarian on pretty much everything. I'm mainly in favor of the government only using their power for managing the economy and preventing violent crime.

They just want authority so that all the mess we’re in can be reversed. Over time, that strong authority wouldn’t be needed

Do you really believe that or am I getting punked?

By doing self-reflection and your own research. Honesty is a big step so start by clarifying what exactly you fucking want and what exactly you're afraid of instead of buzzwords.

Also focus more on ideas than sides. Take something like conserving the environment and caring about animal rights; before the current clusterfuck it wasn't a cuckservatives vs liberals thing.

Time to go on a onions and semen diet!

So how do you imagine big businesses not doing whatever they want if the guverment doesn't have the power to stop them?

>stronk authoritarian daddy will stop eventually

What mess? My life is great.

Listen both sides that's it. Listen to all sides

>both sides
There are way more sides to any argument and by focusing on two of the most popular ones, you're likely to miss a lot of good stuff.

>thinking the items your employer pays you to make for him belongs to him makes you a cuck

>working yourself to death to make someone rich
>being grateful for the crumbs that fall down to you
>get replaced the second they find someone cheaper/better
Sounds way worse than being a cuck.

God, what a good fucking show.

You make something for pennies on the dollar and then your employer sells the shit for untold markups, even after accounting for expense you're being cucked out of more than half of what your time is worth. Why have a boss? Why shouldnt the workers just own what they make and sell it themselves, cutting out the middle man

Because the craftsmen are always btfo by automation.
You're a fucking retard.

How am I retarded? I work in a factory, the job I do could probably eventually be automated but that has nothing to do with what I'm talking about

>Why shouldnt the workers just own what they make and sell it themselves, cutting out the middle man

Absolutely nothing is stopping you from forming a coop and doing this.
And coops are neither right nor left wing, merely a business model. Eventually though you and your original founders will grow in business and hire others. Should they receive the same share of the company as the founders? They didn't provide the startup capital, and they haven't provided the previous labor to bring said company up to it's current status. Next thing you know you are the new CEO/Board. You're just too stupid to realize capitalism is inherent in any market economy and an inevitability.

We dont have to live in the USSR for the govt to have enough power to just regulate businesses and do not much else

Become a libertarian.

We care about freedom and individual rights like weed use and free marriage but also like guns, cars and BBQ.

Ah the naivety of minarchists.

Government has never remained limited indefinitely. Gun ownership is always infringed upon, then the civil rights restrictions start.

This is 100% accurate.
Am economics.

Just do it not focus on the cuck mentality.

I would, but most libertarians tend to allow businesses to fuck them over just as much which is pretty stupid
What defines cuck mentality?

>libertarians
>caring about freedom
Not really. Maybe liberty and even then with lots of asterisks.

Moderate is the least cucked though.

>he fell for the redpill meme
aahaahahahahahahahahaha

user, being a cuck has to do with your personal life. If you set boundaries or not, if you are mature etc. Political beliefs are irrelevant. It's only in very extreme and marginal cases that someone tolerates being cucked because of some weird ideology. You can still be a moderate liberal or whatever and still hit the gym, develop yourself and get some pussy. Don't buy into Jow Forums "wisdom". Most of these people get their education from YouTube videos ffs.

>So how do you imagine big businesses not doing whatever they want if the guverment doesn't have the power to stop them?
Not OP but I feel like some kind of decentralized system of government would be best. Maybe that makes me socialist but only if it is decentralized so it can have the benefits like free market capitalism has.

You don't cause conservatives will always call you one no matter what!!

What do you mean by cuck?

So private enterprise and work means someone else is running your life, but state housing, state medicare, state schools and nationalised industry is total freedom according to you. Kys.

you don't. the only way to not be a cuck is just take every left wing view and oppose it cause reasons. then find game devs on twitter and take screenshots of them saying things you disagree with and posting about how it is killing games.

Sounds closer to communism or left libertarianism than socialist.

Still, how exactly is it supposed to work? Take a recent example like car manufacturers having their hands in writing the legislation, tests and then still shitting on all of it.

>state housing, state medicare, state schools and nationalised industry
These serve the people and only have the purpose to serve the people.
The purpose of private enterprise is to get jew gold for the owners/investors.

>Still, how exactly is it supposed to work?
Yep thats the main problem.

I sort of think robots are the only way to make it work because robots can be reprogrammed easily assuming we had true robots. Also I am probably just a crazy idiot.

>These serve the people
Come on user you know that isnt true.

The fuck is this thread about.

Politics are cucked, here's why that's a good thing.

How is it not? Even in the very, very worst case scenario with bureaucrats slowing shit down and corrupt fucks trying to profit; you still have institutions and infrastructure with the main goal to serve people.

Healthcare in Burgenstan is THE example how private industry treats life or death situations as a goldmine and rips people off harder than the most corrupt Soviet dictator could've dreamed of.

Welfare doesn't really help though it just keeps people poor.

Not dying or freezing on the street sounds pretty fucking helpful.

Most libertarians go and start their own businesses.

You're confusing libertarians with the Libertarian Party.

anyone who thinks the opinions they're parroting are 'progressive' is a massive cuckwad.

OP here
I guess I just want to distance myself from the bugmen at my core, since I'm eerily close to being one
I always feel a little isolated from my friends because im distanced from current fads and don't get/like them and I always ask for advice from others, like right now lmao
How do I become a free thinker?

Attached: 220px-Corneliu_Zelea_Codreanu.jpg (220x328, 13K)

You don't. Forget labels, look at what they stand for and how they conduct themselves.

>The purpose of private enterprise is to get jew gold for the owners/investors.

No shit. Warehouses, raw materials, machinery, wages. Everything costs money. Even "free" stuff comes from somewhere. Someone has worked for it.
Business owners gamble their money by paying for all that stuff in hopes that it will turn up a profit. They create jobs in the process.
People aren't assigned labor like in slavery and communism. They seek and enter an employer-employee relationship on their own. In exchange for their work they receive money, and through their labor offer goods and services to the rest of society.
There are crappy bosses, criminal practices and shitty wages. These are fair to criticize and should be addressed. But that isn't your grievance. Your grievance is that "The Man" is making money off of the job he gave you and living large, because you are a dumb, entitled, jealous fuck who can't grasp basic economy and infrastructure.

>They seek and enter an employer-employee relationship on their own.
Yeah, just like slaves seek slavery on their own, it's not like the choice is that or death. When someone robs you at gunpoint, you'll give them the shit they want all by your own free will too, right?

>Your grievance is that "The Man" is making money off of the job he gave you and living large
I don't have any grievances, user. I know it's hard to grasp but you don't need to be affected by something personally to notice the flaws. I only pointed out the difference between the state and private enterprise. And just for the record, I don't even mind capitalism; as long as labour is voluntary, and it's not like that goes against hardcore libertarian ideas either.

>I always ask for advice from others
That's a smart thing to do and part of being a free thinker. Although the idea is pretty romantic; and unrealistic, when in truth your thinking, and how free it is, is decided by tons of factors that are outside of your control anyway.

Question yourself, question others, do it until you get annoyed of all the questioning and give up on the idea that there is the right answer, and then keep questioning further. Enjoy the constant unease and uncertainty a zealot never would have and try not to become a sad or an apathetic fuck because of it.

You want to know the difference between state and private enterprise? I'll tell you the difference. The difference is that people can't be fired from the state. They have no insentive to do their job right, they get hired through connections or as political favours, and if don't pay for them (through taxes), armed men are going to come to your house and take you away. Regardless of if you're actually using state services or not. At least a private enterprise can fire it's employees if they are incompetent or it can close down if it is doing a shit job. Also you only pay for it when you're using it.

>Yeah, just like slaves seek slavery on their own, it's not like the choice is that or death.

Did someone come to your house, pointed a gun at you and told you "You! Factory duty! Now!"?

I would consider myself a liberal. In the sense that, individuals should be free to make their own decisions in life and not being shackled by things like religion and family.

That being said, i still consider myself red-pilled. Being a liberal doesn't mean you can't live your life without having certain standards when it comes to relationships for example. Many redpillers and mgtow's confuse being a traditional republican as being redpilled. I'd say that is a mistake. Being redpilled is simply observing the world and certain events rationally and without bias. Not letting your beliefs be influenced by 3rd wave feminism and mainstream media. It has little to do with your politcal beliefs.

>The difference is that people can't be fired from the state.
That's just wrong. Even if you got with ancient examples like muh Soviet Union.
> they get hired through connections or as political favours
Because that never happens in private industry. Oh. Right. Also in civilised countries it's actually pretty hard to fire someone unless they actively fuck up once they signed a non temp contract.
>Regardless of if you're actually using state services or not.
How horrible! Guess I should finally start a fire and get sick, so muh taxes don't get "wasted".
>Also you only pay for it when you're using it.
Or signed a stupid contract you can barely end; like at most gyms.
>Did someone come to your house, pointed a gun at you and told you "You! Factory duty! Now!"?
Why no, our capitalist overlords are so nice, they offer a multiple choice test. Just like that robber who went with car keys, wallet or your phone. Clearly nothing forceful about it then.

I share your feeling about megacorps crushing competition.
But I also see how poorly run many government programs are and wasteful so I don't really trust them either

>how poorly run many government programs are and wasteful
Usually due external factors like different bits of the government being in conflict with each other or political factors, like policy introduced by team 1 getting torpedoed by fresh legislators from team 2.

It's not an inherent problem with government programs per se.

Federal prisons, poorly run, unions have their own lobby to keep weed illegal.
Road crews, 1 guy working while 3 watch leaning on shovels
The federal government also ruled that the tomato sauce on a pizza counts as a serving of vegetables in school lunches

Most of these examples are just plain old corruption, usually initiated by the private sector too.

But following polular trends falls under the definition of being a bugman
Where do I draw the line?

Attached: 248349.jpg (1920x1080, 227K)

Thats the problem with your argument. Government and business are married you can just blame business on anything wrong with the government but that is just being dishonest. If you surrendered all means of production to the government essentially that is it. The U.S. government is now in total control of your life and you can't undo that.

>That's just wrong. Even if you got with ancient examples like muh Soviet Union.

Unless they commit crimes, state employees cannot be fired regardless of performance and complaints. In the SU "difficult" people were shipped to the gulags.
In private businesses you can get easily fired either by being late repeatedly, having shoddy performance or running afoul of the HR department. Nepotism and connections exist but unless we're talking about artistic/entertainment industry, they are rare and usually in the upper brachets where the people in question come from rich enough families to have at least graduated a relevant college. But unlike the state, corporations can't coerce you to give them your money, so they are affected by their choices and are forced to straighten up.

>Or signed a stupid contract you can barely end; like at most gyms.

It's your fault if you sign something before reading it. Also you should be going to the gym.

>Why no, our capitalist overlords are so nice, they offer a multiple choice test. Just like that robber who went with car keys, wallet or your phone. Clearly nothing forceful about it then.

You are being obstinate and invasive, trying to talk down to me instead of answering. You aren't giving a straight answer because nobody forced you to work for an employer and you'll look bad if you admit it.

you know what this is actually a good question and based off seeing my friends become more and more annoying about their leftist tendencies after taking a bunch of various classes like african history and gender studies, you should just aim to stay open minded. if you notice side blinders developing, take them off. my friend was talking about some fucking dumb cartoon yesterday about a monkey given intelligence in a scientific experiment, and he unironically called it a "post colonial narrative" because the monkey lived in africa and these western scientists took it and made it smart and "civilized" it. I wanted to punch him. he takes a bunch of stupid fucking classes and gets pat on the back by his annoying leftist professors whose JOB it is to keep their side blinders on, and then he acts annoying to everyone else.

Wait why'd you post a picture of Codreanu?

why not?
