19 of 28 EU states voted for the proposal in the council today, including the countries which spearheaded the new censorship laws - Britain and France.
The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Italy, Poland and Finland voted NO. Belgium, Estonia and Slovenia didn’t vote, for very odd reasons.
All EU states now have 2yrs to implement the text. France has said to do it as soon as possible (this summer) in the most severe form possible. Poland and Sweden said to ignore the most harsh elements and implement a minimum “no upload filter” approach. Germany is in the middle, and also wants to implement a system that avoids upload filters. Italy wants to not implement the rules at all and fight it in court.
to be fair, that does not necessarily imply violence it can be used as a propaganda against them can be very effective if well done

>implying boomers understand anything about the internet
Evan Mitchell
Wow, must suck to have your countries sovereignty over rules by a bunch of shitskin sympathizers.
But you need borders and your own currency to be a country.
Sucks to suck
Dylan Hall
>The EU doesn't actually force countries to implement anything they said >They don't function as an institute to policy launder things that would never get through constitutions and parliaments they said >After all of this people will still defend both the (((EU))) and the (((UN)))
It's time we start applying a final solution to the Hollywood, record industry, and Silicon Valley problem.
This. If someone from your country voted in favor then remember their name and remind everyone of what they did next election.

>we don't need guns. who need guns anyway? only criminals use guns. we're not criminals That's why you never got independent you dummy
Christian Perez
It will bump tech savvy of some normies, yes. Same way it does in russia and china. However beyond the 1% of such outliers, hardly anyone cares, as they never had any use for internet freedumbs to begin with.
Clearly you do but are in denial. Can't exactly throw spears at politicians who are guarded by firearms
Angel Smith
I sincerely hope you're just playing along with the sarcasm.
Ryder Barnes
Bow and arrows would be an ironic kill
Xavier Sanders
Go chuck some spears Sweden, catch me some mackerel you fucking pure breed non mutt

>"Lol we pressed the wrong button!" >And got a nice fat deposit in their respective bank accounts.
Wyatt Brown
Pure coincidence. Just like that time they accidentally opened the borders in countries with housing shortages and made banks billions on the massively increased demand on housing which led to sky high loans being necessary to buy said housing. And then said banks accidentally gave the politicians responsible cozy do nothing jobs after they retired from politics. It's all just a series of coincidences. It was especially a coincidence that the people who own both the banks and the media which remained silent on all the problems.
Boy what a weird world of coincidences we live in. Funny how these coincidences seem to always work out for a certain group of people. Must be another pure coincidence.
Aiden Howard
Yeah, I know. Funny how they always end up in comfy post-politics retreat jobs at either huge lobbying corporations, UN or banks like you say. No revolving door here, no corruption either.
James Green
The big social media sites have already proven they are willing to do censored version for China. EU will get the same. The bug colony is growing.
Dylan Phillips
>Can't exactly throw spears at politicians who are guarded by firearms and what exactly they're going to do. kill us all??
naaah... government would never do such a thing! you see, who is going to pay taxes if we're dead?
Those retarded boomers here actually said that they'll implement it only for large platforms such as yt and faceberg. So only those double digit IQ monkeys not getting any more of their degenerate rap music then.
Levi King
>who is going to pay taxes if we're dead? Your new countrymen. Ready to replace as soon as the various governments put the non-legally binding migration pact into quite-legally binding law.
Noah Cooper
>Italy wants to not implement the rules at all and fight it in court. Based wogs. Can come make me spagbol any day
Nolan Powell
this >dude let's just force big companies like google and twitter to block everything our corporate overlord want to earn money for
Joseph Edwards
Used to ensure EU wide intranet has a mandate - They will cut the EU off from the outside when the civil unrest occurs after global financial crisis 2: electric boogaloo makes DB implode from their exposure to toxic assets and the ECB and euro will inflate out of existence as each shithole member state fights to sell governmental control to the EU project for preferential EUR loans in the early stages only to have the whole fiat system inflate to nothing. There will be mass unrest, diversity/quota and non-merit based hires will be layed off first - credit availability will shrink and banks will foreclose the boomers at the bottom.
Alexander Young
>Your new countrymen. naaah. they would be too busy raping our wives after our death.
Politicians should be detained by default at the end of their term, investigated and prosecuted. They're all corrupted and guilty of crimes against their country and its citizens. That's just the way it is.
Nathaniel Bailey
But within 2 years.
Cameron Evans
You have to make it normie friendly too.
Grayson Taylor
>implying the UK won't implement something even worse and it was the EU holding them back
Eli Mitchell
Youtube will have to pay some people. Life goes on. Even the german government said they will interpret it in a way so that it affects the big ones. In a couple of months noone talks about it anymore. Btw, vote for a euroskeptic in may, its time for a change.
> No free speech and persecution of wrong think > Sharia areas > Rape gangs
The founding fathers wanted the US to be a place for Europeans to be free. So when are we going to accept the asylum requests of these poor oppressed Europeans again?
