Saddam was a foolish man and a crazy leader who did more harm to iraq than good. Hafez and his son built syria for hamf a decade and raised a good society. Saddam tried to overthrow hafez many times without any notable success and later iraqi baathists turned to isis fighters because saddam was an extremist sunni.
