That fancy ballet comes at a great cost to stealth. At best the SU-50 will only offer frontal aspect stealth (similar to the F35). Except that the F-35 will be built by the thousands, and the SU-50 will not (too expensive for the Russians and it's customers).

Let's say your radar detected enemy plane behind your back, but still outside the reach of his missiles. You turn your plane, launch a missile, then turn back and continue to fly away while your enemy now have to deal with missile that flying in his face.
We don't know what will be useful and what not in the real war, but having options is better than not having them.

There are not really any AAMs in anyone’s inventory with several hundred mile ranges except for some specialty ones for attacking HVTs like tankers and AWACS.
It’s also possible for planes to blunder into dogfight range, especially if it becomes stealth vs stealth.
