cut all foreign aid
cut all regulations
sure, why not?

blue pilled

China's doing an entire continent with around the same debt

We can't even fix potholes in our roads. How can we expect the future demographic, shitskins, to build or maintain a rail network?

Have faith. Trump will saves us

not in our lifetimes

Why the two huge bubbles in the east coast. Don't tell me mountains and cost, because if that is the case you are already investing in an expensive rail system that will cost more than the tunneling and bridge making to cover those distances.

>nothing anywhere near me.

The Hyperloop is a terrible idea, why not a maglev train instead?

Rail is for cargo, not people.

>implying

>>Government whistleblowers and retired military personnel have publicly stated that during their employment they observed that our government has a massive network of tunnels, with super velocity trains, linking secret underground bases. (Thomas Castello, the former Dulce Base security officer, reported to an associate that Dulce had a tube-shuttle station linked to several other secret underground bases.)

>>At first hearing, these statements seem too far-out to be true. We've all seen television shows about tunnels and they always show how expensive, dangerous, and disastrous near-surface tunnel construction can be. So, obviously an undertaking such as constructing a massive, sci-fi-like network of underground tunnels would take too much money and hundreds of years to build! NOT SO, say scientists!

>>In 1972, Robert M. Salter, lead scientist with the Rand Corporation, announced during an interview with LA Times science writer George Getz, that a high speed system could be built using existing (1972) technologies. He also stated that the system should be built for environmental and economic reasons. What kind of speeds was he talking about? Try 10,000 MPH!

Sad but mostly true

Sure hope not, trains are gay and public transportation is bad.

We finally saved up enough debt to spend it all on infrastructure!?!?

Make like a Greyhound and split.

>using air pressure to lift a train inside a partial vacuum
Elon has to be the dumbest motherfucker alive.

Balance budgets are largely not ideal as you want to avoid long recessionary gaps.

No, but because of private land ownership.

65% of federal spending goes to social security, medicare, and other liabilities. The military isn't the problem, fucko.

No. Those are already established rights of way for existing rail, there are tremendous wildlife impacts and we already have airplanes for this.

>trillion debt + pointless war ?
Most of the worlds high speed rail only works due to massive goverment subsides, plus since the USA is not a third world shithole, like china, land costs are enormous.

Stick with planes and normal rail service.

>The military isn't the problem, fucko.
>Bigger budget than the next few countries all combined

Most of the military budget gets fucking wasted too. Remember the F-35 program? What a mess.

Moving some where in the red if this happens.

High-speed rail is fucking pointless dude. It's slower than flying, and costs way way way way way way more to maintain than a bunch of airports. There is 0 reason to do this other then to make America fail.

Are you kidding? With all the niggers and mexicans running around, the security to maintain such a network would be impossible.

No people in this picture

This will be the passengers on the high speed train.

No, we don't want it here in Florida, fuck your train off some other peninsula

Attached: nautical-but-nice.jpg (1500x844, 1.1M)

And this is for a train that doesn't roll as fast a jet airliner on the ground.
Note, in leftie, bluepilled California, people fought tooth and nail over a pleb-tier high speed rail line. Long distance passenger transit is ideal using aircraft or maybe ballistic spacecraft. The land needs to be preserved as much as possible for crops and nature.

Think about who's going to run the trains. Do you think the average American transit worker has the work ethic or attention to detail required to run a high speed rail?

Pic related is the people who run Japan's bullet train system.

high speed rail needs it's own dedicated lines
especially with ones that don't intersect with roads

>maintain
absolutely this!
America could certainly build it, but they wouldn't maintain it. Step by step, the money spent for maintenance will be shifted into other people's pockets until a disaster occurs.

What an amazing way for Democrats to move hordes of voters anywhere in the country

Meant this

We really don't need a high-speed nigger transport system.
