Notre-Dame fire: International call for architects to design new spire
France is to invite architects from around the world to submit their designs for a new spire to sit atop a renovated Notre-Dame cathedral.
Prime Minister Edouard Philippe told reporters they hoped for "a new spire that is adapted to the techniques and the challenges of our era".
He is said to have emphasized that the design of the new Spire must represent a modern France which is a place of many faiths, and be welcoming to all.
I already called it while the fire was still burning. They'll strip all Christian symbols and turn it into an 'interfaith' place. Which essentially means it's going to turn into a mosque.
