I had just broken up with my ex and was single at the time. So I wanted to meet some female friends and not take things too seriously so fast- literally friendzoning girls just to have a female perspective and friendship.

Just finished a friend outing with one and dropped her off with her friends. Notice one of her friends is attractive too. Browsing social media, I found her page and we started chatting. We decided to hang out as well. Next thing you know, she's wanting to have more hang outs and eventually became my GF.

Networking is key because you're not going to meet people if you're not out there seriously putting effort into developing friendships and relationships. Online friendships are also a thing now and I wouldn't have met her if it were not for social media.
