Honestly I was drowning in addiction, depression, and alcohol until I rekindled my faith in Christ after Notre Dame burned. I watched street preachers profess the Gospel and I saw the horrible way they are treated by the world. I saw Jews kicking and spitting and attempting to rob a man of God simply for preaching in Jerusalem where Jesus walked. That increased my faith greatly. Opening a small space inside of myself for God made sins I struggled to free myself from much lighter.
This was my main issue when trying to get over my dad. Hes literally the stereotype of a christcuck though hes not soft he gives off that vibe of using the religion to cope. He will take it from your mind and keep it from weighing on your soul so you can go forward and resist temptation better in thefuture.
The whole "saved" thing is also total jew shit because it implies God is a one time affair. A cheap one night stand you can use to hide from your wrongdoings. This of course couldnt be further from the truth. Walking the righteous path is a struggle, we are tested every day and fail every day. I asked for forgiveness and I felt something powerful, Jow Forums, and I cant describe it in any other way than Grace. What I felt made it clear that im not absolved of all wrongdoing but rather free to move ahead without thinking unnecessarily about the past. Remember to sin is to miss the mark. Somebody did a study and kids whose dads are pious eventually go to church in adulthood like 75 percent of the time whether or not mom does. But kids whose dad does not go to church regularly for the most part will not go to church as adults regardless of how pious mom is.
