Why do people purposefully misconstrue Peterson's "clean your room" comments? It came entirely from incel losers with literally nothing going for them asking what they could do to better themselves immediately. He was asked this constantly. JBP then says a good first step is to clean your room, because it can be done immediately, it's so easy that literally anyone can do it and it will give a slight self esteem boost so that you can make the next steps to not be a loser. He never says you must keep your room spotless. He says if you're in a bad place, it's a good first step. He then goes on to say that metaphorically you can extrapolate this to criticize those losers who spend their time trying to uproot society while having a life that is horrible. None of this even means he must keep his room clean. He has his life in order. He has a family and is making money.
