Persia has an extraordinarily illustrious history, however as most Persians are slightly browner than Europeans many self identify with that pathetic term "person of coulour". If they all believed themselves to be white and fiercely objected to cultural Marxism, I feel that they would be compatible with the west.

there are a lot of mixed cultures and ethnicities in Iran, but geographically past cultures have tried to associate with Aryans. Several Assyrian emperors/kings claimed to be Aryan (whether they were, not sure). But these guys are genetic descendants of the Assyrians, and in some places, even descendants of the Sumerians. They submitted to Muslim integration but still struggled with maintaining their Persian/Zoroastrian/Mithraic roots, for over a thousands years. Can't imagine why anyone would want to wipe these guys out.
