While you have a noble idea you are doing something very wrong that the Christians and other faiths are doing very right. They go to Church once a week at least and discuss whatever is on their minds. A feature of the Christian denominations I participated in is the time to speak freely with the congregation, if one has anything important to discuss.

Atheists are mostly not having weekly meetings which leaves them disorganized. The communities of faith organize around a set of morals and faith in punishment and reward based on how well one follows faith. (Do not underestimate this motivating force. It keeps a community of faith on the same page and thus a Hell of a lot stronger than a community that does not.) Atheism needs to develop a core set of beliefs that promote stable living. The Christians are relatively weak compared to Muslims and Jews right now because too many Christians became Hedonists in the post World War II era.

I think we come from two different views of desire. I think the future you desire and the future I desire are two very different things.
