You honestly have to set your sights on a much more achievable goal.
Maybe like a county or two in one of these states and a ton of concentrated effort.
And then the problem with a concentrated effort is that it can instantly be targeted by the state, corporations, ngos like the SPLC, and loose knit activist groups like anifa. Think how these sorts of communities will not only be harassed by state officials (like rural Mormon settlements)but also be blacklisted and de-platformed by major corporations., Then there's all the random activists that'll target your community.
The small community takeover has been tried before by white nationalists and other small radical groups and it has never worked out well in recent history, or even the distant past.
What actually makes more sense is to just continue agitating and increasing hostility and conflict in society. The right-left divide is incredibly stark already. There is no flipping that needs or can be done at this time. What nationalists need to do is dramatically limit immigration, discredit the opposition and vilify them, instigate the removal of cucks like Shapiro from the conservative and nationalist movements, and then tirelessly promote a return traditional norms in society at large.
You will never flip Vermont "red" using your strategy. Change will come to the local society through disruptions of national policy at this point.

I think pushing a New Englander Political Identity would be a way to get the 55% of unaffiliated voters in MA to get back into politics. It's the only region in the country where both parties can't even assemble a majority of the electorate.

These are even more hilarious. Some only win by running unopposed and receiving 10k votes or so. Chip away at state level representatives and senate. Republicans make a lot of ground at the state level during the Obama era. It's surprising that no one at least TRIES to field candidates at the state level in New England. Literally subvert Democrats by running moderate Democrats or pull away votes by fielding 3rd party pet issue candidates as well as strong Republican opposition. You could easily flip state house seats. State senate would be a little more difficult. It's just a theory. A lot of these elections are unopposed too. One could also impact elections through attrition by forcing Democrats to spend their already slim financing on elections they don't want to at the state level. If you have to spend 10k but they choose to spend 100k, then you win even if the election is lost.
