How well would Arby's do in Britain? Personally I think they would love it, especially washing down a tasty Chicken Bacon Swiss with a Jamocha shake! Lol I'm going to make a fortune opening up Arby's franchises across the pond!!

The fish sammich would probably be their best seller. 2 for 5 quid!

you don't have Arby's there? what a shithole country

most american food chains do really well here based on the novelty that its american and we're getting it

i ate at arby's once

What American chains do you guys have?

DON'T

The Slags will love it

Arby's doesn't do well here so why would they expand?

Founded by Cleophilus Arby in 1867 as he reminisced on the hunger and privation of the US Civil War. He vowed that Americans would never again be without access to curly fries.

The ruben is better than you'd expect, although it's too breaddy and there isn't enough sauerkraut. Most of the menu is like one step short of really nailing it for a fast food joint. At least it's priced right for what you get.

>most american food chains do really well here based on the novelty that its american and we're getting it

as an american all of your british cuisine reminds me of cafeteria food for some reason, dunno if it's fair or accurate assumption but unlike most fast food Arby's is the best, quite literally could binge on roast beef sammiches for months on end

Attached: Arby's.jpg (673x468, 40K)

Arby's has a bad reputation, but a lot of it is better than anything at the other big name places.

>Arby's doesn't do well here so why would they expand?

It would probably do better in England than here, same thing with Boston Market, those cunts would love Boston Market.

Arby's is underrated here. The ones in the US use a lower grade roast beef unfortunately because their sweet tea was enjoyable.

Neither the chicken bacon swiss or the cordon bleu are halal, so they probably wouldn't sell to well in Britain.

>Arby's has a bad reputation

Thats beyond comprehension when Burger Kangz is the worst garbage, Arby's actually makes good food.

>Neither the chicken bacon swiss or the cordon bleu are halal, so they probably wouldn't sell to well in Britain.

It's all white I thought up Norf?

Plus they know what's up when it comes to running sales. Who wants to say on line for hours at a Wendy's just to get a $5 okay burger when you can hit the Arby's and pick up two gyros for $6 without missing more than maybe two light changes?

>Arby's is underrated here

Yeah, everyone eats at Tim Hortons, is that place kinda like Dunkin Doughnuts?

>Plus they know what's up when it comes to running sales. Who wants to say on line for hours at a Wendy's just to get a $5 okay burger when you can hit the Arby's and pick up two gyros for $6 without missing more than maybe two light changes?

This.

They keep handing out those coupons and I keep coming back for some more.

Wendy's is faster and less expensive than Arby's. literally never seen a normal person working at Arby's.

>their reuben, sliders and monthly meatmountain-lite sandwiches are not redeeming factors

I was surprised at how many white people there are at my Arby's. It looked like a pizza shop or something compared to most of the other fast food places.

Its pretty white outside of London and a few of the other large cities.

I'm just being cheeky as the limeys would say.

Attached: London 2020.webm (960x407, 3M)

not politics fuck off nigger

yeah,
its like dunkin donuts, but if burger king bought it, fired all the white people to bring in cheap labour, turned the food into cheap garbage, and destroyed its reputation so bad it has to move to china

basically dunkins donuts mixed with tears and white slavery

>not politics fuck off nigger

We're talking about the politiks of fast food you stupid nigger, fuck you and fuck Jannies.

British fast-food is currently mostly fried-chicken, curry and pizza, inevitably made by Paki terrorists

>its like dunkin donuts, but if burger king bought it, fired all the white people to bring in cheap labour, turned the food into cheap garbage, and destroyed its reputation so bad it has to move to china

So far in my experience I'd rather deal with retarded chinks than niggers, had to talk to some dumbass chink from some call center in B.C., basically dumb like niggers but without the attitude, chinks are more polite.

I'm not a coffee guy and I couldn't begin to navigate a starbucks menu. I'm not sure if the whole thing is written in some hipster version of Italian or if it's how the Russians are passing coded messages around. But if you're getting tired on the road, Dunkin Donuts has coffee that doesn't make you hate coffee.

starbucks uses great beans, but they serve it at boiling temperature. if you get gift cards, buy their bags of coffee and prepare it yourself.

tims used to be good, but they tried to make it fancy with darker roasts and shit, id rather gas station coffee at this point.

i always liked dunkins though

mostly pajeet,
most of our east asians are rich, because they dont fall under commonwealth work visa programs, they generally have to have more than 1 million usd in a bank account and a bunch of other shit to get a visa to live or work here

They use great beans but they burn them until they're as black as a nigger's asshole, Australia is a nation of coffee-snobs so Starbucks is unpopular here.

>not focusing on fish n chips

talk about losing your culture

I'd buy fish and chips. That could be a great food truck opportunity. Most fast food fish other than Long John's is pretty meh, and Long John's is a little expensive just to buy meme food.

how would greggs do in america?

i get that. when i travel to CA, i usually go out of my way to pick up some legit fresh coffee, some sort of nuts, and jerky on the way back. i totally get fresh loving coffee, but as far as store bought goes, starbucks is definitely up there.

i have occasionally bought black rifle for fun, its decent enough.

So it is envy and not hate
Got it

if you want to make money, like donald trump money, open a&ws in the uk

ive read pizza hut is pretty damn popular over there

They have the metric system in the UK. Brits have no idea what a “pound” is. Brits call a “dollar” a “pound.” They would think they are getting that huge sandwich for only a half a pound, which is like 80 u.s. cents.

An Arby's thread without their greatest sandwich?

Do Britbros like beef brisket that's been smoked for thirteen hours?

Attached: smokehouse beef brisket.jpg (610x458, 94K)

Arby's hires Americans.
/thread

But the brisket tastes like it sounds

Attached: 1523271428239.png (320x312, 61K)

Fish and chips is too greasy to eat frequently IMO, Australians tend not to eat much seafood tho, especially compared to New Zealanders

Yes delicious.

Me and my Dad believe after years of watching diners, drive thrus and dives + man vs food. The sandwiches with the gravy/dip would do well over here

I second this

Arby's is the best simply because of their limited time stuff. Every time you go there's something you haven't tried on the menu.

To a point, it has to offer more than novelty to have sticking power. They have recently (last few years) opened Taco Bells here and they aren't doing too great I don't think. It's really shitty food though.
I went to a Smashburger recently, I don't know how they are priced in the US but it was more on the expensive side, it was OK I guess. Five Guys has been popular.

I really think a fried chicken franchise like Popeyes would do well here as fried chicken is big business and KFC is kind of shit.

Rachel you are retarded

Literally everyone in the UK knows how much a pound weighs lol, we know how to convert between metric and imperial as needed, except maybe for Fahrenheit/Celsius

>pic related

Attached: index.png (1221x648, 786K)

root beer is really odd to our palate, it's not popular at all.

This the gimmick wears off quick. The whole premium fast food industry is not doing well at all. The gimmick with five guys has worn off and other homegrown burger chains like Byron burger and gourmet burger are in real financial difficulty

>Popeyes would do well here
I've looked into it and they do have franchises over here. Also think chic fillet could do well

The key to Taco Bell was that it undercut the competition despite being iffy. So, as a high school student in the 90s, you could load up on taco bell for pocket change and it was good enough.

These days, it's ridiculously expensive for what you get. They paid some Jew to rig the menu up so that you pay out the ass for sub-par food unless you brought a calculator and figured things out ahead of time.

I hate that you're right we as Americans call it the imperial system in our own country I have no excuse and i apologize on behalf of my countrymen

aw. in rural areas in america, youll definitely see the shapes/buildings of classic fast food places, but taken over by a new restaurant. there was one seafood joint off a rural virginia highway we used to stop at that was an old mcdonalds. the building design is unmistakable

I imagine legit birch beer would be better received.

In fact most Arby's in these parts replaced their number one combo spot on the menu display with the brisket. It seemed so strange to me since usually your number one spot is usually a value priced 5 buck combo. The brisket combo is around 9 bucks.

If you are really hungry grab one of these.

Attached: Arby's Meat Mountain Sandwich.jpg (1024x1004, 211K)

There are lots of them here. Not sure if they are successful though, assume they were a lot more popular 10+ years ago

interesting. ginger beer has been marketed ever so slgihtly here the past couple years. eh, i dont care for it, but it mixes with liquor well enough.

kfc is straight garbage unless you get extra crispy

I can imagine Taco Bell being too costly in the UK to be worth it. It used to be cheap but recently they've started charging $6 for the same crappy $5 box. Not worth it anymore.

Not its more the fact that we have the most fucked up system that is unique to us as we use both imperial and metric

dude, $5 box of food and a soda isn't too pricey. if you're trying to get all gourmet at Taco Bell you should be willing to throw down 7 bucks. this ain't even comped sushi level

What? I don’t hate Americans, I couldn’t give a fuck about you tbqh

Also add to the fact we have literally 0 Mexicans in this country. There really isn't a culture for it here and nobody knows whether its good or not

For me, it's the good old fashioned beef n' cheddar with arby's sauce.

Britain may spoil it. Outback in Britain was depressing. Don't know why you'd opt for Arby's when fish&chips is an option.

the $1 fritos burritos are like 600 calories. damned impressive all things considered

I also think Wendy's and Chick-fil-A would do well here

That $5 will get you further almost anywhere else is the point, unless you've studied the menu enough to find out just how to spend it. It's a kick in the guts for somebody who remembers the $.66 soft tacos.

I saw a commercial shoot in london for their burgers, and the line up was outrageous

There's zero Spics in my country yet Mexican food is very popular here

KFC died in the early nineties when they switched to vegetable oil instead of tallow or lard. Same with McDonalds french fries and other fried products.

How about we reverse the question how well do you think A gregg's, a Weatherspoon's or costa coffee would do in America???

Attached: Double Greggs.png (576x768, 558K)

thats in calgary alberta

>million plus city

The secret to Mexican food is to get it from actual Mexicans. Pretty much everything else came out of a slop machine and you can ask for white people sauce if you're bold and daring enough to try it.

where is the drive through?

You have always been a strange country

I believe Greggs is a big box store that sells appliances and the sort of laptops your grandmother might buy.

I looked into it too. They were offering franchises in Germany, Belgium and some other European markets a few years ago. Said the UK market wasn't available but I don't think any were open at that time.
Either way, the sums they were talking about in the prospectus were nearly McD's level money. It would be good to find a smaller regional chain to work with, riskier but less money to start up and more potential upside. I agree about price point but I think a balancing act can be found in the middle - around or slightly above Dominos/KFC/BK prices.

like where exactly? this isn't 1992, people don't wear cut off jean shorts and listen to Pearl Jam anymore

You like curries like tikka masala because they're cheap and spicy, we like tex-mex food for similar reasons

Wtf is any of that shit and why would i eat anywhere that required me to get out of my car?

outback steakhouse is trash though

It's actually very cheap and they've been open in a few locations for several years now. Some ridiculous deals to drum up footfall at the local franchise.

But conversely, Mexican food as a whole has become much more popular here in recent years, which is probably the trend they were trying to capitalise on. It's just their food is grim.

>The firm — whose founder is a strong supporter of Brexit — replaced champagne with British sparkling wines and Australian wines on 9 July 2018. The firm claims the goal of this is to sell cheaper drinks and to get cheaper alcohol to its two million weekly customers.[32]
>In the run up to Brexit, in the six months preceding January 2019, Wetherspoons announced a drop in profits of 54%.[33]
Probably alright in conservative areas with British ancestry.

Unless you're going for price per calorie, almost anywhere else will be at least as good value for the dollar unless you do something dumb. I tried this experiment last year when I didn't have time to cook and didn't have a lot of money to spend.

And fuck you JEREMY SPOKE IN CLASS TODAAAAAAAAAAY

>3 G's in the name

some illuminati free mason is operating that business no doubt

There are a couple of them now

Attached: 1523318626164.png (485x443, 44K)

open some in canada

they would do well

>How about we reverse the question how well do you think A gregg's, a Weatherspoon's or costa coffee would do in America???

have no clue, wtf is a weatherspoons? lol

I haven't been in a decade or so. They were excellent when they opened. But in Britain, the prices were much higher and the portions were mean.
