But even with his lies and embellishments, the fact remains that he lived, and his family died, keeping with the ~90% kill rate for Jews sent there. Wiesel doesn't actually help you as much as you think he does, because fake accounts exist in every historical event, but the big picture remains unchanged

23,134 were REGISTERED at Auschwitz. People that were gassed on arrival, weren't registered. It is obvious by deporation and train records THE NAZIS THEMSELVES KEPT that more people were sent to the camp than were registered. What don't you understand?
