This is what happens when the MSM doesn't do its job for years on end

Are we free market though?

Actually, this is what happens in an over-regulated market controlled by a government on the leash of lobbyists. It helps concentrate power among a few conglomerates and doesn't allow for fair competition. Price-fixing is a symptom of government regulation and crony capitalism. Free markets don't support price fixing to keep a product profitable, they support innovation when a product becomes too cheap to be profitable beyond razor thin margins.

>US
>Free market
>Not an oligarchy vassal state run by Israeli overlords

Your daily reminder that the USA is a Constitutional Republic, not a capitalist democracy. Lurk more faggot.

Imagine thinking the drug market in the US is a free market.

Obamacare caused this, insurance companies are now only allowed to keep 15% of premiums as profit so they have incentive to look the other way at price gouging as it allows them to pad their margins more. Prior to 2012 insurance companies would have been screaming at this. Not free market related at all.

this kills the lolbertarian

no, but free markets can't work with jews either so they need to be removed before we even attempt it.

you have to get rid of it all for it to work and even then the forign powers that be can still destroy this idea

this boomer moment brought to you by Monster Energy (TM)

exactly

Can’t force anything into the public without the government run fda
Today OP was a faggot again

The only reason these drugs are expensive is because (((intellectual property law))) protects them

get rid of the rent seeking bullshit that is copyright and intellectual property. It's one of the main ways kikes make money on the backs of others.

>Investigation Finds Drug Companies Colluded
So who's getting suicided this time?

You can't have a free market with bad actors.

>Free market
>USSA
pick one

Only of theres legal consequences
Kys fag

They also use Kosher Nostra to crush their competition

which also gauranteed to happen under capitalism.
have you ever heard of Randalph Hearst?
Do you know who rupert murdoch is?
The koch brothers?

>thinking anything related to healthcare is a free market
US healthcare is probably the most distorted market on earth. When my son was born, there was an insurance SNAFU, so I got a $24k bill (he was in NICU for five nights). The hospital would have taken $18k cash to call it good. The insurance company paid $35k.

None of those numbers are wrong.

There are literally regulations that prevent price fixing. Your platitudes are empty.

>get rid of the rent seeking bullshit that is copyright and intellectual property
Do you even know the amount of money that has to be poured into R&D if that didnt exist no one would invest

This is what happens when you let government pay for healthcare. BTW, if the meds are still selling then those companies have right-priced their product. If the price is too high then people wouldn't buy it at all.

You fucking subhuman piece of shit, if you actually believe in a free economy you would understand that copyrights and patents are GOVERNMENT enabled monopolies. The only way to enforce copyrights and patents is to also have the backing of the monopoly of violence which is what all governments are and that's all they ever will be.

>pharmaceutical medication
>Saving lives

Yeah...

>the picture that marked the beginning of the end of the CCCP.

You think giving immoral corps the ability to do something they otherwise do illegaly will work to solve the issue?

>have you ever heard of Randalph Hearst?
>Do you know who rupert murdoch is?
>The koch brothers?
All these people have something in common but I can't put my finger on it.

replace capitalism with Jews.

an ethnostate would work fine with capitalism or socialism because the people care about each other.

kikes treat everyone else as slaves so whatever system they have power in outside of their own countries is bad news for the locals.

Based leaf. Shall be spared on the DOTR.

this

>Do you even know the amount of money that has to be poured into R&D if that didnt exist no one would invest
bullshit
a lot of the research is government funded by universities, and then they turn around and sell off the patents that the taxpayer paid for

Then explain the situation where Chinese and Indian generic drug companies -- under free market pressure -- were lying about purity of drugs, hiding findings from regulators, making drugs that we're really just sugar pills, and committing just unimaginable kinds of fraud that make Bernie Madoff look like a swell guy?

nytimes.com/2019/05/13/books/review/bottle-of-lies-katherine-eban.html

God bless America. I am honestly thankful we have so much food. Even if there was a shortage we would have so much.

>lifesaving drugs
>if the people buy it, its the right price
Whats your favorite flavor of window, user?

Chinese lie about everything, why would you ever buy drugs from them

>buying anything from Chinese and Indians
You do realize these people arent white. For fucks sake, they eat dogs and shir in the street

Attached: 1547843673654m.jpg (1012x1024, 108K)

Everybody dies user. There's no such thing as a lifesaving drug. The best of them only buy you a little more time and the price yout pay is how much you value that time.

Don't cherry pick the argument. In an actual free market, without government regulations and enforcement, people are getting pills with shards of glass in them

I get what you are saying, in a proper free market someone would undercut the price fixers. But what I really don't get is how your stop the price fixers from ganging up and axe murdering the guy trying to undercut them?

You sound like you would hire an Irishman to repave your driveway

>This is what happens when you don't put capitalism on a short leash

Only a fucktard wouldn't know drug companies are crony shitbirds which install reps in the FDA, who block any competition. Capitalism and a free market remove these barriers to entry of competition.

OP is a fag. Price fixing is already illegal. You’re just a commie shill pushing yet another straw man.

You dummies need to look at what’s going on in China. A 3000 year old civilization thrown back into the dark ages by communism. Nixon fucked the US by opening them up to commerce, but partially embracing capitalism allowed them to become the second largest national economy. Even still, they’re only catching up because they’re stealing our technology and benefiting from our prosperity.

And yet despite them being communist, that wealth is not being distributed beyond the communist party leaders in Beijing.

You dummy think you’re going to cannibalizes rich people and then live some leisure life writing shitty slam poetry and sniffing your own farts. But what you’re really doing is sentencing everyone to live in a totalitarian police state where innovation stagnates and everyone not in with the communist ruling party is shit on.

Capitalism is hard, I know. Yes self determination is scary. But you can do it with even the least little bit of creativity and effort.

If you think drug prices are unfair, create a watchdog group that sniffs out price fixing or gouging while publicly shaming companies to the point where the PR stink is more expensive than price cuts.

Or create an NGO that lobbies for shorter patent windows and investment in generics or alternatives.

Utopia does not exist. If you want to push draconian regulations, be aware that you’re actually just consolidating the power of mega corporations who are the only ones who can afford to navigate said regulations.

Implying market forces work when the hospital picks your medication for you

What's stopping them now?

in a free market, companies can use underhanded methods to stomp competition. they can meet with competitors to fix prices. they can buy competitors and close their businesses. they can buy entire supply chains etc.

>And yet despite them being communist, that wealth is not being distributed beyond the communist party leaders in Beijing.
Objectively false

What prevents a startup from coming in and undercutting the companies "colluding"? Oh, that is right the government does.... So is it really a free market?

Rockefeller tried that for the oil refineries, never quite managed to pull it off and his prices kept dropping for decades. At a certain point people started building refineries they had no intention of using just because they knew Rockefeller would open his purse.

this. our economy is closer to socialism than capitalism

the fda grants special monopoly privlege to drug companies.
and then the government drug programs pay the inflated drug costs, billing the tax-payer.

it has nothing to do with the free market.

IF we had a free market, all our pharmaceuticals would be imported from india and cost almost nothing. The fda, GOVERNMENT, is preventing this from happening. It is illegal to import drugs from countries like india.

>Imported from India.
Ruh roh
nytimes.com/2019/05/13/books/review/bottle-of-lies-katherine-eban.html
Ranbaxy and Chinese murder-escalators us what happens in a world without regulations

Objectively ignorant. Anyone with half a brain can look at China and see the drastic wealth disparities that should not exist in a communist country with so much wealth.

Are you really going to honestly try and argue that Xi has the same standard of living as the plebs cranking out sneakers in sweatshops?

Collectivist utopian ideologies are fantasies that ALWAYS end in dictatorship and mass oppression.

>going to the hospital
That's how you get sick user

If we were allowed to storm the building for their bullshit it wouldn't last. Capitalism works when done properly.

Yet they encourage it, fucking aids tard.

exactly. The point is the gov may actually have these rules on the books, but the only thing that ever actually happens is multibillion dollar industries buy government power to close markets for them. It isn't "capitalism" or "socialism", it is the inevitable corruption of institutions

someone always cracks. this has never worked unless gubmin made it work.
