It's been 20 years and nothing has changed. Compare this with the 70s vs 80s and shit. Now it's just one long miasma of rap music and sameness, one day blurring into the next.
This is not unusual in history - centuries would pass in a Chinese dynasty with nobody being the wiser. Pop culture is exhausted and blackened with nowhere to go, fashion is roasties too lazy to wear anything but skin tight exercise pants.
