Satan and Lucifer are not the same being, it's true. But Lucifer wasn't in the garden and Lucifer didn't bring light to man.
God made the Garden, God put man in the garden, God taught man how to farm and make clothes and make fire.
Lucifer is mentioned only once in the bible, speaking of someone on earth trying to build a tower to the heavens, who will ascend above the clouds, who will build his throne above the stars of God, to be "Like the most high". Satan was cast out of heaven because he was already there, he didn't need to build a tower to the heavens. So Lucifer is probably Nimrod or Gilgamesh, and possibly first ancestor of the Illuminists, but not Satan.
