You are too ideological, that is the problem with many theories. It's concept is pure and straight forward, it's implementation is 99.9% of the difficulty. It's easy to say things like, equality for all!, no private banks!, Government will be pure and uncorrupt.
This is where the political debate is often held, in the ideological realm, but the actual implementation that is resistant to corruption and greed is why Governments always fail. Ultimately, Governments fail because the individual parts, humans, are imperfect, illogical, and greedy.

It's better to have a mixed economy with some parts of capitalism and socialism similar to the Soviet Union and Germany. Germany under Hitler had high production rates and extremely low unemployment, whereas purely socialist or capitalist nations had problems like inequality, inflation, oppression, human capital flight, etc. China under Maoism and Venezuela are perfect examples of pure unwashed socialism, authoritarian dictatorships masquerading as democratic republics started by revolutions from the people. Just go for the best of both worlds and aim for the advancement of technology whilst working with unions, corporations, syndicates and everyone in the middle don't exclude certain means of production and capital producers because of some 'bourgeois' threat.

Not to mention the main problem of communism: When the government is supposed to be in control of all resources and distribute it upon the population, what stops the government from seeing the population as a problem since the larger the population the fewer resources available to all? What stops them from engaging into genocide and eugenics in order to decrease the total population, therefore increasing the availability of said resources to the remaining population?

I admire your persistence, I like that you have given thought into this. But just like any idealist, you can make any wishy washy argument on why my flavor of Government is best and incorruptible. Humans have tried many attempts at a perfect Government and have failed spectacularly. We can assume that we just aren't capable of governing ourselves from our own track record. I won't make excuses like "oh well if we had tried that or this it may have worked". We as humans are hard wired to compete in a world of limited resources and that is just as hardwired as our sex drives.
