This was the same thing that happenend in the 1800s before the CSA seceded, politicians from the south and the north were demonized. The 2008 recession caused millennials to be socialists and millennials are living with their parents in their 30s. The constant war against trump is breeding extremists what want every conservative dead is gonna be one of the many reasons why it happens. When trump wins 2020, every extreme liberal will lose their mind and it might turn violent. When the 2nd american civil war happen, it would look like pic related. Every major city might either destroyed or heavily damage. From the ashes might lead to the rebirth or the downfall of a global superpower. Whatever happen, the world will go one and the world will rebuild itself to rely on a different superpower or a new one will rise to replace the fallen. The west might fall again (fall of the roman world), new nations will rise in the ashes, and then the east and/or the south will rise to replace the world that we know. It takes generations for an indigenous population to be phased out, or at least made a minority.
