Plaintiff will get paid. Oberlin has a subrogation agreement with the insurance companies. Once the plaintiff gets the judgment, they can have it enforced and levy the accounts of Oberlin. They are too big and public to effectively hide that much cash. Plaintiff could even have a deputy seize paper chattels, vehicles, maybe even incoming class deposits (maybe).

The insurance company will step in to prevent that and pay them out, likely over time.

Oberlin can appeal and may argue that the judgment is a hardship, but hopefully they will lose.
