Traditionalism isn't possible again

Due to technological advancement, the old ways of life are not coming back.

>access to travel has made it possible for any race or ethnicity to be anywhere in the world under 24 hours
>technology has made it possible for women to work
>mass communication has made the world smaller
>mass produced food has made homesteading obsolete to a certain degree

Lately I've been re-thinking traditionalism. It doesn't seem like it's even possible to achieve again, because "Tradition" was actually our ancestors responding to biological incentives in order to survive. Those incentives aren't there anymore, so what now?

Lord of the Flies is trad. Get BTFO OP.

>>access to travel has made it possible for any race or ethnicity to be anywhere in the world under 24 hours
Then close borders
>>technology has made it possible for women to work
Women can work because of feminism technology doesn't matter. In Muslim countries for example many women are just housewives and don't get jobs.
>>mass communication has made the world smaller
How is this related to traditionalism?
>>mass produced food has made homesteading obsolete to a certain degree
Then don't buy mass produced food.

Who is the gorgeous girl? sauce

We just need to do something similar to the Amish, Mennonites, and the Ultra Orthodox.

The Amish will become majority in the Midwest within 50 years. OP has no amswer for this.

someone post her vagoo

brittany venti or something like that she's a twitch streamer who acts retarded but... she's retarded but not that much she's quite a troll

>The Amish will become majority in the Midwest within 50 years. OP has no amswer for this.
They'll most likely dissolve into the modernist system over time

The only reason they're allowed to LARP is because the modern world protect their right to do that. Otherwise they would be invaded or conquered by a foreign country that actually fucking uses electricity and helicopters.

>Then close borders
What incentive is there for elites to do that? They want the labor
>Muslims
Islam is literally falling apart. Iran is having it's first feminist movement where the women are refusing to wear the hijab. The government is actually deploying undercover "morality police" to monitor the situation, not joking. I have female friends who live in Iran and they sound almost as liberal and angsty as western women do, and they hate Islam.
>Mass communication
Because this disintegrates tradition. Foreign cultures are not 30 days of boat riding away, they're the click of a mouse away. This is just naturally going to globalize culture.
>Then don't buy mass produced food
What is the biological incentive for people to do that? Do you even get what I'm saying?

just live in the woods nigga

>just live in the woods nigga
I'm talking about biological incentives for the masses in order for "traditionalism" to happen

Do you retards even get what I'm saying here holy shit

The fascist view is that traditionalism is infeasible in today's society. There are still certain "traditional" things which are useful to society, but we should strive to adapt to our surroundings and only use traditionalist approaches when it is both feasible and beneficial.

>Those incentives aren't there anymore, so what now?
That's the beauty and the curse of this planet of ours. Sure we can learn a lot from past mistakes, but the way forward will always be a big fucking mistery, specially now with the exponential growth of technology and ability for humans to go anywhere on Earth within 24 hours.
My view is that shit is fucked either way. There is no turning back to the traditional life, but it is up to men to maintain their dominant role in society instead of allowing women to dictate policy. We just have to stop being limp wristed faggots.

Blondes are better and have more fun.

Moortugal

Not keeping women as slaves has killed us all.

Dooming us into a dreary mulatto future.

>"Tradition" was actually our ancestors responding to biological incentives in order to survive
Yes it was about survival, but a lot of it is socially important. Take for example monogamy, anyone with critical thinking skills could tell you that a society without monogamy will not last long. Even if you pacify the incels with porn, then you have a huge amount of useless males and unsatisfied females (There are only so many chads in the world). Fairness is important. Even in monarchistic societies they knew that if the gap in wealth was too great then it collapses. The French revolution is a good example.
Large cities and hubs are bound to have a lot of multi-ethnic peoples. That's always been true because those cities are where foreigners go for trade or diplomacy.
I don't think homesteading and growing your own food has much to do with traditionalism. Or at least I think it's unnecessarily extreme. It's a good idea to develop the skills necessary to take care of yourself, but I think it's going back a little too far.
Traditionalism or conservatism in my view is about selflessness. Everything liberal is about personal gratification. You should be more concerned with the well-being of your family, community, etc. then your own enjoyment.

She doesn’t look white?

Women worked throughout history. At home.

>close borders
it would be very nice. there could have been an extremely strict visa policy for foreigners but unfortunately i dont see this happening unless there is a coup in europe

>dating a britfag
So close

OP is right on many points tho
Traditions and Conservatism have taken a huge hit, starting roughly at the industrial revolution and continously accelerating with newer technologies bridging the gap between humans, both physically and in communications.

I don't see the end to traditions, it's just that culture and events evolve quicker and traditions change quicker.

We're all here on Jow Forums or the internet in general and have made our own codes and culture(s).
We speak in references, memes, copy-pastas, and so on, meaning we made our own culture into tradition.
We can recognise like minded people outside of this site, with a reference or code word.

I like to think there is a cold war, a culture war waged by the different parts and subculturesbof the internet, for control over internet traditions.

Hell there is even a list of "Rules of the internet" specifically tailored by and for 4chin and has spread to other parts of the web.

You just have to face the fact that's how things works, traditions have a hard time to keep up because of the rapid evolution of culture.
We have new traditions, and you're/we're all a small cog in a big machine. A brick in the wall.

Left Wing, Right Wing shouldn't matter. On the internet, the fight is between Liberalism/Libertarianism VS Authoritarianism.
Internet users should and must rally for freedom against authoritarianism.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk

>Those incentives aren't there anymore, so what now?
Those incentives are slowly coming back. With governments around the world restricting private car usage more and more and censorship and spying making free communication through anything other than direct speech harder and harder, people will have to focus more on their local communities again. It's the one thing the leftists are actually good for. as for
>mass produced food has made homesteading obsolete to a certain degree
that's only if you want to eat massproduced crap and die of cancer in your 60s. I know it's hard to understand for somebody who has never eaten fully ripened fruits or self made preserves, but they taste completely different than massproduction food, including organic. And if you look at the ingredients lists, you'll find that much includes stuff that you shouldn't eat. For example, many companies have started replacing sugars with artificial sweeteners that are known to cause cancer in high concentration. Others cover food in "edible" plastics like polypropylene so they'll look fresh longer (often done with fruits and vegetables). Most of this is hid behind inconspicious names, and they use more complicated names for common components too (like aqua instead of water or sodiumchloride instead of salt) to confuse customers, but if you look the components up (or like me studied chemical engineering and know them), you'll find that for example, microbiological rennet (which is created with genetically modified bacteria) is used in supposedly GMO-free organic foods or that the "birch sugar" used in soft drinks is actually not sugar extracted from birch syrup but a chemical created from birch bark called xylite and believed to cause cancer.
If having better tasting, healthier food is not an incentive, I don't know what is.

Okay Kaczynski

True but this will be temporary. Globohomo is cracking down cuz they're scared and a lot of their tactics are failing.
>I know it's hard to understand for somebody who has never eaten fully ripened fruits ect.
I grew up in a homestead community where corporations were banned and the community each grew their own stuff and then traded with each other.

I moved to the city 5 years ago, I can clearly see that mass produced food and the ability to buy half-decent food at whole foods destroys any biological inventive for the average person to buy some land and start growing their own stuff.

Yeah people might get sick and die earlier but they'll take that chance before they go and start up a farm. The wealthier people buy organic from Whole Foods too

>Okay Kaczynski
I'm literally arguing against AnPrim

They're coming back because of dysgenic breeding rampant in technologically advanced societies. Smart people are giving up or delaying child rearing and therefore as a group will have less children that are more prone to issues stemming from advanced parental age. These trends are unlikely to be reversed without some form of taditionalism or hard eugenics.

Thats a nigger
