The Bible, specially the New Testament can't be more clear about Jews being the enemies of God. It's full of passages like that. They killed Jesus and they have been cursed since then. Read Matthew 27:25 and Saint Pual clearly states that the Jews are the enemy of the human race: 1 Thessalonians 2:15

I'm well versed in the New Testament but I've been lazy about reading much of the Old Testament beyond Genesis, Exodus, and Job. This is the first time I've encountered God's judgment of Israel for turning away from him mentioned in the Old Testament.

this shows more of a direct illustration of God's love than the KJV but the rest of the chapter seems to be a very close replication in both translations.
