It's not the hatred based on anything other than that. But Jow Forums has some very interesting ideas of how we may fix the banking and the government's relationship.
Some ideas are not so good, but getting rid of the very interconnected central banks and ending the Keynes thoughts on the economy and thus eliminating a few people who actually hold most of the financial power in the world is a very interesting proposal.
Couple it with the fact that the Japanese economy on paper isn't doing great and yet their way of life doesn't really suffer( it's for a lot of reasons, but we could still learn from them) we can see that the mantra of "more immigrants" actually makes no sense for the economy, what it does it's ensuring that the social security won't completely collapse in 10 years and that the people in power will stay in power. That's what this is all about. Not the actual health of the economy, nor the "caring about our citizens" that they are trying to sell.

GDP just measures movement of money and is a dick measuring contest that encourages low value add middlemen or other unproductive shuffling of money in the system.

The classic joke is that a pair of people could walk through a dog park paying each other $1 million back and forth to do unspeakable things with the faces they come across and they would together drive the GDP through the roof.

Rent, that is money paid for access to capital goods, is a massive drain on the real economy and immigration drives up the share of everyone's earnings they have to pay just to live while suppressing wages by wage competition.

We aren't a country of unlimited resources. We can't keep taking in more people yet our infrastructure and housing remains mostly the same, take a look at major cities. Rent keeps going up and traffic gets worse every year.
