all the coverage of the tanker stuff is really boring, all possible angles have already been discussed here and now when I'm reading a journo chime in it's stale and boring
Blame capitalism, not the people trying to play by its rules. If you export goods then you want to keep your currency weak so that your goods become cheaper relative to the countries you export to.
Isaac Powell
I enjoy having food on the shelves and the ability to start a business with my own prices.
Thanks for your input.
Btw I hope you die in a car wreck today, commie.
Colton Rogers
>export goods If only. Grain and oil - the basis of our export. Just like 120 years ago. >Blame capitalism Not really. Traitors in the highest echelons of power - our 200 year old problem.
>Traitors in the highest echelons of power - our 200 year old problem. that is the same problem everywhere and at every time. It's part of the structure of power. You would have to live in small tribes to avoid this. Also your country is headed by the best, most competent politicians on this planet. Putin and Lavrov are way above anybody else right now.
Adrian Jones
>Just like 120 years ago. Current massive grain export wasn't a thing until the recent boom, so chill out
Nolan Butler
>most competent politicians on this planet That's a pretty low bar tho
There's plenty of machinery and parts too. The point is that a stronger ruble will kill any export aside from oil. If exports were more focused on high-end goods thus wouldn't be an issue, but commodity exports need to be competitive on price. Elites have literally nothing to do with this. They also have nothing to do with the structure of Russian exports and economy. You can't just suddenly start exporting high tech into established markets that are decades ahead of you in technology and experience.
Henry Young
Btw, I hinted at problem with methodology of ruling elite training. And getting into the same trap for the third time is the same if Germany launched another World War. Not surprisingly, but adequacy questions arise.

Having a good agriculture sector is not a shame, use what you have And hey, it's another industry you revitalized Let's see what can be revived next

One of our propaganda channels is glamorizing the white helmets again. Last time they did this it was in preparation of staging a gas attack. bitchute.com/video/xUvb2Mor6NRA/

This is fiction without reation of independent seed funds. >good agriculture sector is not a shame It's like producing steam locomotives in XXI century. Yes, all operations are performed by digital computer. Yes, train driver isnt in contact with coal or steam boiler. But its still steam locomotive with η = 10%

Brainlet here. I'm 99% sure this video is slowed down a bit, or is that just how gunfights from far away look and sound like ?
Mostly construction equipment, engines for certain foreign cars like Honda etc. You're missing the point though. Russia doesn't have the industrial foundations to build high value-added goods or high tech products. The Soviet Union never developed such industries nor such brand names in sufficient quantities so we're stuck with commodities. Commodities are goods whose brand doesn't matter and which can be made anywhere. These goods mainly compete on price because nothing else matters about them. Oil from Iran or oil from Russia will still be processed into the same product. A tomato from Krasnodar is no different from a tomato from Kharkov. The same grade of steel produced in China or in Canada will still be the same. If you want to sell such goods, you have to sell them cheap and Russia has to sell them predominantly. Hence why currency suppression is done, so the cost of your labor becomes de-facto lower than theirs.
