The original album cover art depicted the 2 group members, Pam the Funkstress and Riley, standing in front of the 2 World Trade Center towers as they are destroyed by huge explosions in the background. This might seem distasteful at first, showing a huge lack of compassion for the victims of the 9/11 attacks, but once you realize that this particular CD cover was designed and finished in June 2001, 3 months prior to the 9/11 attacks, your opinion will likely change. Originally the album was scheduled to be released in mid-September, but in response to the uncanny similarity to the soon to happen September 11 attacks, the album release was delayed until November of that year, and the released album cover was completely changed. How could an image so specific and exact be created 3 months prior to that very event taking place?
